Rain rain go away
Come again another day,
Little Johnny wants to play
Rain rain go away

Years have passed and age has changed,
Johnny is not little anymore,
Rain has been away too long
With water being only in tales and lore

Johnny doesn't wish to play
He has grown- grows crops and earns
But his children stay famished
As his scorched farmland barren burns

It seems clouds've taken him seriously
To go away- go away forever,
Little Johnny wants to live
Rain rain go away never

Rain rain go away
Come again another day,
You'll stain Johnny's grave
Death has had its final say!
