Your smile misdirects portward ships,
Your sandal smeared bareback too,
In comparison, lighthouse dips,
So do the sun or moons two.

Cursed are the gold of Veekerpholan wreck,
Shallow water bloomers you bless,
By wearing them a garland round your neck.
A black River down your head flows,
Or is it 'hair' as common eyes say,
The river sure flies when the breeze blows,
Rainbow 'tisin my eyes; in others' just dark grey!
