"How I envy you o' cloud
Swimming around in the blue sky,
Clustering with your friends,
Heavenly white and heavenly high

Could you be my messenger o' cloud,
Do drift- not far and be my dove,
My messenger- pass my words dipped in hope,
Through the prison walls obstructing my love

This black floor that hides my shadow,
The rattling chain conceals my words,
With sun shepherds- mountain wolves,
Pass my love through the cloudy herds"

"I am not as free as your eyes see,
I am a prisoner of the unstable weather,
Of winds and sun and drying sea,
We're both prisoners- of sky and nether

You want me to be your messenger
But my message itself lies lost
I'll rain down your soaked pain
And let men pay their own costs"
