Gardener for 'G'

Sun said he burned when you smiled
Moon hid for 'twas an unworthy metaphor
In heavens constellated stars compiled
To form you, form our (my) love heretofore

Aurora envied your mesmeric eyes
Pole star praised my undying love
I wish I knew your eyes told lies
And your heart held someone else above

Was I a bait for your final fish
Or did great shark steal the bait
Did the shooting star ignore my wish
Or was it my written forgotten fate

Even without my company you are not alone
The prince offered you a rose that I myself had grown
