The Broken Forest

When the river ran from the sea to the hills,
My flying submarine was stuck in the storm,
The trees pulled me into the Broken Forest
Where the dew was rot and the mist was warm

The waterfall climbed upto the sky,
Creepers froze and climber digs,
A pride of birds hunt the lions
Who in their nests- chew upon twigs

The horned tulips and clayened fireflies
Roam, as bears scratch a toad's belly,
Tigers shiver as honeybees stare
But I take a break at the Panda's deli

The six-packed Panda serves and stares,
'Do you even lift bruh' he asks!
I gulp it down and sneak away
To watch some snake do belly dance

A turtle's Inn lies near, I head
Inside and become her guest,
A confused human roams about
In this magical mystical Broken Forest!
