December 8
Olivia's pov
"Hey! Olive! Guess what? You just got picked to play the game. Come onto the stage," Emily yelled. I mentally face palmed myself. She knows how much I hate that nickname, so of course she says it. In the middle of an assembly. Emily's the host person and right now, and she's doing some game. The games guests are "randomly selected".
"So you're going to stand on that orange X" she pointed at the X.
"I hate you," I whispered in her ear, before making my way to the X."The next senior is... a tall, barely handsome guy, who everyone knows. Grayson Dolan," she pointed at him. Okay. These were randomly selected. Emily would not do this. She gave me a sorry look. Emily called out six more kids from junior, sophomore and junior. A boy and a girl from each grade. "Now. Grayson and Olive will work together. The same goes for Taylor, Micah, Jack, Elise, Connor and Hailey. You guys are going to answer five questions per team about your partner. Whoever has the shortest ratio of time will win. So, Grayson and Olivia, you guys are first. Here's your question," she pulled out a small pile of pink cards.
"When's your partners birthday?" Emily asked.
"December 16, 1999," I called out.
"February 10, 2000," Grayson shrugged. He knows my birthday, since last year he wanted to be friends with me for a couple months. Basically, he stalked me from January to May. Just to impress me. It kinda worked. I did like him. I still do. But we just have busy schedules, so we only really see each other at school.
"That's... correct!" She moved on."Okay, so back to the seniors. Name your partners siblings. First name, last name and older, middle, younger or no sibling" Emily raised an eyebrow.
"Avery Pine. Olivia's twin sister, who was born a minute and 37 seconds after Olivia," everybody gasped at Grayson knowing that.
"Grayson has a twin brother. His name is Ethan Dolan and he's older than Grayson".
"Both of you are correct. It seems like they know each other pretty well, don't ya think?" Emily remarked. I rolled my eyes. "And now, Taylor and Micah".
"Micah has no siblings," Taylor scrunched his face together. The school groaned.
"I'm right here" Micah's younger sister yelled. I think she's a freshman.
"Taylor has and older sister named Sonia," Micah frowned at Taylor for him getting the question wrong.
"Taylor, you got your question wrong. And Micah was correct, so that's one point for juniors," Emily wrote on the portable white board. In the end, we won. Grayson and I both got every single question right. We won by two points. The sophomore were right behind us the entire time.
I'm excited, because tonight, there's going to be a party at Riley's.An hour before the party
I winged my eyeliner and curled my hair. The door bell rang. I heard the door open, so I continued doing my makeup. It was probably my dad opening it for Alice.
"You look gorgeous!" Alice gasped as soon as she opened the door.
"No way! You are drop dead gorgeous!" I exclaimed. Alice, she's beautiful. She doesn't need any makeup, but makeup is like her entire life.
"Thank you. So Jasper's picking us up in ten," Alice clarified. I nodded, putting lipstick on.
There we go. Perfect.
"Well, are you ready?" She asked.
"Yep," I responded.
"Good, because he's early".
We walked out the door. I saw Jasper's truck.
"You look cute," Jasper said to Alice.
"Thanks. You don't look bad yourself," she cheekily commented.
"Oh, and you. You look terrible by the way," Jasper looked at me with a smile.
"At least I don't look like I was just dragged out of hell," I shrugged my shoulders. All of us laughed.
"Lets go," Jasper said, while stepping on the pedal. The ride wasn't long. You could hear music from the other side of the city. All I could smell was cigarettes and weed.
"Typical parties" I muttered.
People were already sprawled on the grass, drunk as hell.
"Yooooo! What's up Olivia?" A drunk Avery stumbled out of the house.
"Your sisters insane," Grayson sighed, following her. He was holding two beers in his hands. "Want one?" He asked me.
"Sure," I took it from him. "So, how are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine... well normal. That's what we're gonna say," Grayson muttered.
"Normal? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"I've kinda been acting differently," Grayson started.
"Yeah. You have," I muttered taking a sip of my beer.
"Grayson! I wanna go inside," Avery whined.
"Ok, hold on," Grayson sighed.
"What are you? My mom?" Avery asked. I laughed. Avery ripped her arm out of Grayson's grip and stormed inside.
"So, how are you?" I asked.
"I've been better. That's for sure," Grayson sighed. I nodded.
"How are you?" He asked.
"I'm okay," I whispered.
"Yooooo, Grayson!" Some guy called, with an arm slung around a blonde girls shoulder.
"Hey man," Grayson clinked cups with the other guy.
"Lets go over there," the guy pointed at a circle of people. They all looked high. Laughing at everything. Clueless. Confused.
Grayson and the guy walked over to them. Grayson gave me one last glance, before heading over.Alice and Jasper are probably in there already. I walked into the house. You could feel the vibrations from the sidewalk. I'm gonna be deaf by the end of the night. Jasper and Alice were dancing in the middle. Of course they are. I'm not sure where else they would be. There's a bunch of college kids here. It's making me a bit nervous.
I walked to the kitchen.
"Hey Belle!" I yelled over the music, catching her attention. She's has chocolate brown hair and beautiful eyes. Her nicknames Beauty, since she looks like Belle from Beaty and The Beast. Honestly, Belle is flawless. She's gorgeous.
"Hi! I'm actually leaving, because I don't get a good vibe from this party!" Belle yelled, getting closer to me. "Hope you have fun!" She called.
"Thanks! Bye!" I yelled back.
Great, now I'm surrounded by a bunch of drunk people. I left and headed upstairs. The music was giving me a headache. I walked up the creaky wooden stairs. Making my way down the hall, I heard a guy call out to me."Hey beautiful, whatcha doin up here alone?" He asked. This guy is not drunk... and he looks way too old to be in high school.
"Um, I'm actually about to leave," I got a terrible feeling about this.
"No need to rush," he smirked. The guy forcefully pushed me into a room. I screamed. He ripped my dress off.
No! No! No!
