Two:
"You must swear to tell the whole truth. Even if you are ashamed of it, you must tell us the truth." Andie said very seriously to Taylor. Taylor sat on the tire swing, looking at both Sara and Andie. "I swear to tell the truth." She replied, looking into Andie's eyes. "Alright then." Sara said after a pause, staring at her notebook. She looked up to Taylor, holding her black pen. Sara exhaled into the morning air. "Tell us what happened last night." She inquired to Taylor. Taylor looked down and sighed. "The whole night?" She asked. "Yes." Sara replied. "Alright, but this might be a long story." Taylor replied, now looking back up at Sara. Taylor took a deep breath and saw the events of the night before. "It started right after dinner. We finished eating - Brock and I - and we cleaned our dishes. I remember seeing most everyone, including you two. Once we were done, we headed to our room. We sat in there and talked for a little while. We talked mostly about relationships, our families, and some of our regrets in life. He went first - he told me about breaking up with a distant ex in junior high. He was a little depressed talking about it, but I snapped him out of his mood. I told him my regret in life pretty straight forward. I think I really scared him when I told him, but as I furthered the details, he seemed to except what I did." Sara let there be a pause for a moment. "What did you do?" She asked softly. "I kissed a girl." Taylor replied, looking down. "I kissed a girl and I liked it..." Andie whispered with a smile. "Shush, Andie." Sara said, looking to him. He stood with a smile leaning next to a tree almost directly beside the one with the tire swing. "This is no time for jokes." Andie wiped his smirk off his face and looked to Taylor. "Continue, Taylor." Sara gestured to Taylor. "Anyways, after that, we got dressed for the party. You obviously saw what I was wearing, you two." Taylor gestured to her interrogators. "Yeah. That sparkly top was pretty revealing." Andie added. Taylor continued. "After a while, I had seen most everyone at the party, including Emma. She talked to Brock and I for a minute and went to go talk to you two obviously. I had no idea what happened to her until we saw each other in the foyer. Anyway, Brock and I decided to go on a walk of some kind. He took me out the back door and we took a left. We went through the woods to the west and talked. He was a little drunk, but that made his little adventure all the more funny. I decided once we hit an unfamiliar shoreline that we should turn around, so we did. I led the way back. The cabin and the moonlight allowed us to see, but minimally. I couldn't help the feeling the whole hike that we were being watched. I remember when we were going past the deck behind the house, I saw a figure vanish inside. There was smoke in the air - it smelled like cigarette smoke. I couldn't tell very well though." "Just a question," Sara interrupted Taylor. Taylor stopped and looked to Sara. "Were you intoxicated last night?" Sara asked. Taylor hesitated, breaking eye contact with Sara. "Not as much as Brock. He was pretty drunk. He does a good job hiding it." Sara nodded, looking onto her notebook page and writing words down. "Continue." Sara said, looking up from her notebook. "I guess I was drunk enough to over-shoot the back door, so I ended up behind a tree-line on the east. I saw the fire by the water, so I took myself and Brock to it. Brock was getting kind of annoying, complaining about his ankle and how he thinks he twisted it, but he 'couldn't tell.' We were on approach to the porch when Brock slammed into the side of the house. He was starting to get dizzy. I had to grab him so he didn't fall into a rose bush. I took his hand and led him up the stairs to the veranda. That's when he peeked in the window and saw all of you. I can imagine you all know what happened from there." Taylor finished and rocked back and forth on the tire swing. "Interesting." Andie shrugged. Sara finished up her last few notes and looked up at Andie and Taylor both. "That's all Taylor. Thank you." Sara said to her. She slid out of the swing and onto the ground. She stood up and grabbed the tire. She spun the tire clockwise. She watched the tire spin and twirl in a circle motion. Before the tire had even come to a complete stop, she turned away from it and smiled. She took a few more steps and left the earshot of Sara and Andie.
