"The place is beautiful." Said Sara. She looked up at the stunning white cabin. "Thank you." Adin said, coming up behind her. The wind from the plane still blew Sara's hair around like a tree's branches on a windy day. "Adin! Wait up!" Adin's girlfriend Jeanette said, rolling her suitcase across the dock. Jeanette met Adin by the side and smiled. "This is going to be so fun. I can't wait." "Me neither." Said Adin, smiling and bumping Jeanette with his hip. Jeanette laughed and bumped him back. "Are you two gonna make out the whole time or go off in the woods and-" Tried Michael, stepping off the float plane. "You can stop there." Logan said as she interrupted Michael. "Oh c'mon, nerdy." Michael teased to Logan. Adin turned around to Michael and Logan. "The plane's right there if you don't wanna be here with him." Adin said to Logan, pointing to Michael. "No, I'm good." She replied. "Good." Said a voice from the plane. Wyatt peeked his head out the float plane's door and looked at Logan on the dock. He jumped down with his duffle bag and approached Logan. "We're going to have a fun time these next few days." "Yeah, I'd better hope." She said walking away from Wyatt. She picked up her suitcase and began advancing toward the cabin. Suddenly the pilot's door popped opened. "You'd better hope, young lady." The pilot said to Logan. He hopped out of his seat and onto the pontoon. He carefully stepped onto the dock. "I'm not coming back for two weeks. That means your way out leaves with me." He held to the pilot's door. "I don't think I'll need it." Logan replied to the pilot. An awkward silence fell over everyone. Sara looked at Adin. "Guys." Sara said finally. "Where's Andie?" "Good question." Adin said. He looked at everyone else. "Have you guys seen Andie?" "You mean the punk sleeping back there?" The pilot said, pointing into the back of the passenger area in the plane. Sara began to walk toward the float plane. She stepped onto the large pontoon and peeked in the open passenger door. "He's in here." Sara said without looking back at her friends. She stepped into the plane and approached sleeping Andie. She stood over him and grabbed his shoulders. "Wake up, babe. We're here." She said. Andie stirred and blinked his eyes. "We are?" He said. "Yes. C'mon, get up." Sara said. Sara got the bag Andie had been cuddling with the whole flight and began to walk out the door. Andie quickly stood and grabbed the large suitcase stored under his seat. Sara jumped out the plane and landed on the dock. Andie soon followed. "Rich should have the others here in about half an hour." The pilot said to Adin. "Alrighty, Jim. Take care." Adin replied to the pilot, waving. "You guys stay out of trouble. If anything happens, there's the CB radio in your dad's den. You know how to use it." Jim said. "See ya'll in two weeks." He climbed back into his plane and closed the door. Michael, Wyatt, Sara, and Andie carried their bags after Jeanette, Adin, and Logan. The dock spilled onto a stone path across a well-groomed lawn. A tire began to swing as the plane's engines began to rumble. Adin looked back at his friends, and then the float plane. He smiled and waved to Jim in the pilot's seat. Jim was to occupied with the plane's controls to notice. He stood there for a second, taking in what he was seeing. "Are you ready?" Jeanette asked Adin. He shook his head to clear his thoughts and made eye-contact with Jeanette. "Yes." He said, smiling. He turned back to his cabin and took a deep breath. He stepped onto the wooden step leading to the concrete veranda.
