Song: (I've Had) The Time Of My Life-Bill Medley, Jennifer Warnes

I was trying to loosen up slightly; my limbs seemed stiff and sore from working out the past few days. Elliot and I decided to do a couple thing and go to the gym together, which didn't seem like the brightest idea at the moment. He was perfectly fine, of course, but I hadn't worked out in a few months and I could easily tell. Even though I was beyond sore, it felt nice to be trying to get into shape again. Who knew, maybe I would get into dancing again. Maybe it would be a good workout at the end of the day. I could even drag Elliot to classes with me, I knew he wouldn't protest.

"Hey, Baby? Instead of lying around, can you maybe get dressed?" Elliot spoke from above me, his smirk present on his face. His hair was messy and free of any product; he pulled it off quite perfectly. His black dress shirt was unbuttoned at the top, leaving a little skin exposed and his sleeves were rolled up to reveal his muscles. His legs were clad in black dress pants and his feet were sporting his usual work, dress shoes. Even though he looked absolutely normal, he looked damn sexy in his costume. Hm, maybe we could forget entirely about the whole party and just stay in. I was certainly too in love with his costume and I really didn't like the idea of sharing him with other wandering eyes. He looked good, too good.

"Sure, Johnny. Come here." I laughed as I pulled him down to me as I lay back on the bed. His strong, built arms held him up above me as he peered down, shaking his head. His long fingers ran through my hair, careful not to loosen any of the curls I had just finished.

"We're going to be late." He said, leaving kisses along my neck. I moved my head, giving him better access as I took the chance to run my fingers through his hair. I was distracting him and I couldn't be happier; I loved having the advantage over him.

I shrugged, "You're the boss, who cares

I shrugged, "You're the boss, who cares." Needless to say, he didn't care too much. We were running at least twenty minutes late as we pulled into the valet area. I adjusted my pale pink dress and fluffed my hair once more before getting out of the car after Elliot. He laced our fingers together as we walked in, the music loud and the air seemed to smell of alcohol and perfume. Maybe people were dressed as Gatsby and Daisy, which I found tragic. Have they read the book? Their love story was tragic and certainly didn't scream "happily ever after". Others were devils, angels, sexy doctors or cops; it didn't really surprise me, either. I wasn't sure about many costumes but if they were unique, I enjoyed them.
