Song: Still Falling For You-Ellie Goulding

We hit another bump and I groaned, ready to kill Elliot for hitting every pothole on the damn road. He tensed every time the rental car bounced out of a hole and looked at me, mumbling a soft sorry before returning to the road. Thankfully the plane ride wasn't too bad but the car ride was definitely making up for it. Although we did have a flight delay due to some storm, but I wasn't too unhappy about it. We had another twelve miles until we reached our house and I was hoping that the road would soon be smooth sailing. My head was pounding and I was nervous about finally being here.

Things looked so different and I was already falling in love with it. Palm trees were everywhere and nice houses littered allotments and I felt as if I was on vacation. Everything seemed to be a dream and I certainly did not want to wake up from it. It seemed to be incredibly expensive and I swallowed, knowing that our house was among these. The feeling didn't settle well with me but I swallowed the feeling and allowed myself to enjoy the fact that Elliot and I were starting over.

"Finally, a nice damn road. I think this car is going to go back in pieces." Elliot chuckled and smiled over at me, his face beaming. I knew he was excited too; it showed clearly on his face.

"It's beautiful around here." He nodded and grabbed my hand, planting a kiss on the top of it. My cheeks flushed at his small gesture and watched as we pulled onto our street. My knees started to bounce as I looked at the several houses we passed, all of them amazing beyond belief. I couldn't keep my wandering eyes from the neighbors that were in their yards working. They seemed normal enough and I was hoping we'd be able to get along with them, especially Elliot.

"I can't believe our stuff isn't going to be here until tomorrow morning. We have to go shopping, E. We won't have anything," We were smart enough to pack a few suitcases of stuff we'd need until tomorrow but neither of us realized the time difference; we were definitely too excited. Soon Elliot pulled into the driveway and I gasped, tears fleeing my eyes.  "Oh my god." It was even more beautiful than in the pictures. I grabbed the keys from Elliot and ran to the front door, gracefully making it before Elliot. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist as I placed the key in the keyhole. I pushed the door open and took a deep breath, allowing the smell of the house to fill our scenes. It was bare but I didn't care, it was still beyond beautiful.

"Welcome home, gorgeous," I turned and wrapped my arms around Elliot's neck, hugging tightly

"Welcome home, gorgeous," I turned and wrapped my arms around Elliot's neck, hugging tightly. I couldn't prevent the tears from falling down my cheeks as I held onto the love of my life. Suddenly I didn't care that none of our stuff was here yet, I was just glad that Elliot and I were finally here. "We gotta go buy a bed." I laughed as he wiped my tears away and guided me through the rest of the house, our eyes taking everything in. The place was perfect in every way and I couldn't wait to decorate it and add our quirky touches to everything. Elliot spun me around once we decided which room would be our bedroom and started pointing where he wanted everything. I sat on the floor and watched Elliot running around like the crazy man he was; my crazy man.
