** Avery POV **

Don't let them in, don't let them see,

Be the good girl you always had to be.

Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know.

Well now they know.

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn my back and slam the door

And here I stand and here I'll stay

Let it go, let it go

The cold never bothered me anyway

I hummed along to the song as we passed signs saying we were close.

"Good morning beautiful!" I looked over hoping to see Connor but saw Joe. I swear that was Connor who said that though.

"Oh hey."

"You ok?"

"Yeah you just scared me. I've been up for like 20 mins now." I said grabbing my Arizona. It was Mucho Mango, my favorite! I took the last sips and through it into the bag we used for garbage as I grabbed another one.

"Woah slow down you have already had like all of the cans. Im not getting you anymore." He said rudely. "Out of all the girls I could have chosen from why did you pick you for this?" He said under his breathe, still not regretting being rude.

"Excuse me." I said confused instantly regretting asking him.

"Look, I am sorry I just really tired. Were almost there." He smiled grabbing my hand. "I love you." He said pulling my hand to his mouth and kissing it. The thing is when you love someone and they say they love you, you feel the love. But at this moment when he said it I felt nothing but coldness. Did he really love me?

We sat in an uncomfortable silence till we finally pulled up to to his parents house, compared to every other house on the block, it was a small like house for maybe a newly wed couple. It looked like a house from the outside, but a nice beach shack on through the windows. I guess you could call it a shouse. But thats just a made up word so lets not.

"This house is so pretty!" I said admiring the cute little house.

"You don't have to pretend for my parents. I know its a shit hole." He huffed getting out of the car and slamming the door closed. Being so used to Connor always opening my door for me because he always told me it wasn't right for men to treat women. I waited for him to come open my door but he just walked away.

"Are you coming or not?" He rolled his eyes at me walking away from the car. What the hell is wrong with him?

"Yeah. Is something wrong?" I asked concerned.

"Im fine. Lets go." He huffed again walking past me.

"Umm ok." I opened the door and walked towards the house with him. "Is this where you grew up?"

"No we had a fricken big ass house then they had to go and sell it for this little piece of shit." I said knocking on the door. Within seconds a short thin dirty blonde hair and the biggest smile on her face.

"Joey welcome home!" Her excitement was felt around the room. As she hugged him he pulled away and walked towards the bathroom not even caring to notice the love that his mother is showing him. What is his problem, he was never like this?

"Im Avery!" I said smiling as his mother stared at me with a confused expression as if she has never heard of me or anyone with my name.

"Joe has never told us about an Avery." Oh.. she saw my face turn, "but he is always like that when he meets a new girl. Im his mother, Michelle. He likes surprises."

"It more like he likes to surprise us honey!" A man with in my defense a huge mustache too huge for his face.

"Im Richard," He said pulling me into a hug, "I am Joe's father."

"Leave her alone." Joe growled pushing his father away from me, causing me to stumble back and fall on my ass. "Get up, now." He said under his breathe.

"Sweetie your sisters birthday is this weekend do you think you can run out a get her something?" His mom is so kind.

"Holy shit we just got here is have to get all our stuff out the car. We just got here." He rolled his eyes again.

"We can go after then." I said giving him a death glare and he calmed down. He preceded to go and get our stuff out of the car. As soon as he was out of sight his mother motioned for me to follow her. We were soon sitting in their backyard. She lead to these chairs that looked out to the water. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Avery."

"Yes?" I said giving her a questioning look.

"He's different isn't he?"

"Excuse me?"

"Joe has bipolar disorder. He has his moments when he can be the loving, caring boy he always was. And there times where he can be rude and nasty. He's a good guy, he really is."

"I know he is a good guy." I replied.

"Just be careful." She said as I pulled out my phone and checked the time.

"I should probably go get changed so we can go." We both got up and walked into the house. "Im just going to get changed." I said told Joe waiting form a rude remark.

"Thats fine!" He said kissing my nose before going to sit down.

His mom showed me to the room we were staying in. I thanked her then shut the door and got my clothes out (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_35/set?id=113347187). It felt good to be wearing something other then sweats. I walked back to the living room to see Joe sitting down talking to his parents.

Once he saw me he stood up with a smile across his face. "You look absolutely beautiful." He looked at the ground smiling shyly. He stuck out his hand and I took it as he pulled me to the car. We both got and they car and we drove to The Grove. We ended up going to Forever 21, Nordstrom, Michael Kors, Topshop and Anthropologie. We got his sister some nice thing, I even ended up getting stuff. He was so nice the whole time. We were walking to MAC just staring at the sun going down.

Nothing could ruin this!
