Chapter 15

**Avery POV**

Some nights I stay up cashing in my bad luck

Some nights I call it a draw

Some nights I wish that my lips could build a castle

Some nights I wish they'd just fall off

I sang to the radio as we made our way down the road. I was right in the middle of singing when the music stopped. I turned to see Connor with his hand on the volume control thing.

"HEY."

"HEY!"

"CONNOR DON"T MAKE FUN OF ME."

"I'm sorry baby. But we are almost back to the dorms."

"KK and Sophia still doesn't know about her big surprise right." I made a face to Zack who was in the back seat. Sophia was good at getting Zack to tell her stuff. And Zack is the person who's willing to tell everyone.

"I didn't say anything I swear. And if anything happens you can't blame me." He had to of told her. This was the only time he didn't look directly at me.

"ZACKK! What did you tell her?" I shrieked. 

"Not anything important..."

"ZACK WHAT DID YOU TELL HER?" I hated when people ruined surprises. And if he did I swear I would kick his ass. And I'm not joking, I actually would.

"You'll see"

"UGH... You're sooo annoying."

"I know!" We finally pulled up to the dorms. Nicole and Shopia were also just getting there. We had a surprise for her in mine and Raynah's room so we all walked her to our room. Once we were there I hesitated with the keys for a few minutes. I could tell she was getting anxious. She was spinning the ring that was on her finger. I finally opened the door. We walked in and I walked her to my bed and gave her the present we all got her. We all turned to her when she started opening it.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" We all screamed when she pulled out the first thing. She got up and hugged all of us at once.

"Zack you told me they got me a bag not all these clothes." I smiled at Zack, He wasn't that much of the idiot. She spent about 20 minutes going through everything. We bought her clothes, three bags, shoes, makeup, etc. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=81703118). "I can't take this." 

"Wait what?" We looked at each other with confusion.

"Beacuse you guys must have spent a fortune."

"The money really doesn't matter its the time it took to find all this stuff that was the worst."

"So it wasn't that much?"

"Lets just say if one person was buying it, it would be a lot."

"How much tell me please."

"Fine because its your birthday the grand total of everything was like $600 dollars. Maybe a little more."

"WHAT! Are you crazy thats alot of cash."

"Its no big deal. Its your birthday and plus we just didn't give money. Your family sent us money so they could give you something on your exact birthday. We told them to not send that much though because they already have a gift for you but they insisted."

"Yep that's my family for you." Me and Nicole helped her bring her stuff to her room, the guys went to hang out in their room, and Raynah skyped with Jc.

"Thanks for the help guys." Sophia said as we walked to her room.

"No problem you guys are the family I have always dreamed of." I said.

"I love you guys. I don't know what my birthday or even any day would be without you." Sophia smiled as we walked down the hall.
