“Woah calm down that hurts.” Raynah said rubbing her wrists as they took the handcuffs off her.

Her parents stood in front of us staring at her. Disappointment written over there faces. Raynah stood there just waiting for them to say it. Waiting for them to tell her she had to move home. The next events that followed shocked us.

“You don’t have to move home.” Her mother said making Raynah’s jaw drop.

“What’s the sudden change?” Raynah questioned waiting for the you can stay but..

“Because you have a great guy.” Her father said nodding towards Connor. “You guys make each other happy like me and your mother do. Its been mean’t to be since you guys were younger.” Why is is that I always feel invisible to parents? Is it because my mother was a terrible mother or was there a totally different reason?

“Yea I do!” Raynah said clutching onto Connor’s arm. 

“EXCUSE ME?” I said giving her a death glare.

“Sweetie its ok, jealousy consumes everyone.” Her mother said taking me by my shoulders.

“No you don’t get it. Me and Connor are together.” I said showing her the ring to prove it. 

“Anyone can buy themselves a ring darling.” Her dad butted in. Connor was trying to get out of Raynah’s grip but Raynah just held on tighter. Something was up.

“Mom, dad this is my friend Avery.” I gave her a confused look as her parents approached me. Extending their hands towards me. I looked at Raynah as she mouthed I will tell you later. My arm extended to meet her parents. Awkwardly shaking hands with them. 

They turned to Connor as I felt Raynah come up behind me and spin me around. 

“Whats going on?” I hissed through my teeth.

“My parents didn’t approve of Jc when him and the rest of O2L first visited Connor. So Connor knew me and Jc wanted to hang out so we convinced my parents that me and Connor were going out and think we still are. Please just go along right now. I am telling them everything later. Please Av.” I sighed rolling my eyes.

“This once but if your gonna use my kids no.” I said letting a smile play on my lips.
