Chapter 28

** Ricky POV **

I got two, ooh, ooh letters for you

One of them's F and the other one's U

'Cause what you gotta do, is go get yourself a clue

SMH, I brushed a sin on you

"OMG RICKY SHUT UP OR I'M GOING TO CRASH THE CAR." Connor yelled over the music from the front seat as Kian lowered the radio.

"Woahhh calm down I just really love this song, I can't help myself." I laughed causing everyone in the car to start laughing within seconds. "Its so funny how laughing is contagious."

"This parking lot is packed as usual, I told you we should have left earlier." Kian nagged to Connor.

"Its fine we just have to run in and get Nicola something." Connor replied trying to make Kian feel better. It didn't really work, Kian complained the whole walk from the parking lot. "Were just going to Michael Kors, my mom texted me a picture of the bag and watch we need to get."

"Me and Kian will go look for the watch and you go get the bag." I said as we walked into the store. "Just text me a picture of it." Within seconds I received a text from Connor of the watch we had to look for.

After what felt like years of us just standing around someone finally came and helped us. While they went and got the watch from the back, me and Kian decided to look at watches. They actually have really nice watches.

"I absolutely love this one. Why don't we get it for your sister." I knew that voice, but it couldn't be. I looked up to see Avery. I elbowed Kian in his side telling him to look up just as they started to walk away.

"Awww what was that for?" He asked probably because he only saw the back of her head. Maybe it wasn't even her, maybe if was just someone that looked like her.

"Umm nothing..... I thought I saw the person thats helping us helping someone else." I lied knowing he didn't believe me but he ignored it anyway. I think that the girl thats supposed to be helping us went on vacation cause its been so long.

An hour or two pass and we finally pay and get to leave. As we walk outside I see Avery again and this time im positive its her. Trying to make it not look obvious that I see something I look to my left to see if Kian seeings her, hes too busy looking at the resturant signs. I then look to my right and Connor is busy on his phone telling his mom that he got Nicola's gift. Hopefully nothing happens were Connor like looks up and sees her. It took a long time for him to social interact after their break-up.

** Connor POV **

I have been texting my mom for like the last ten minutes getting yelled at for taking so long in the store. Finally she stops to tell me to go get a bag and tissue paper and a card for the gift. My family was coming to California for my sister Nicola's birthday in 6 days. Just as I am trying to text her back and tell her I would go and get them tomorrow I bump into somebody.

"Yo watch were your going dick." I know that voice I look up to see one of my old friends, me and him have our reason for hating each other.

"Im sorr--" I look to the person standing behind him to see girl that loved me but I had to go and break her heart. What is she doing here with a Joe? He wanted my girlfriend. She can't be with him he's such a player. "Avery?" I asked half confused, half happy to see her. She just stood there and stared at me like I had four heads. I see tears starting to fall and Joe just stands there doing nothing to stop.
