Josh's Point of View

No.

I exhaled and looked at Tyler and the disappointment was written all over his face. But I bet I was more disappointed. I thought things were starting to improve between us.

I sat down at my drums to do soundcheck, when Kit texted me (Ha! I love that I can say that now!!!). I opened it while Tyler tuned his ukulele and played through a few songs.

Hey Josh

Do the backflip tonight.

I audibly yelped- something I didn't realize until it was echoing through the arena. Gosh I missed doing that every night.

Tyler spun around, and rushed, "What, what?! Is she okay?!" Laughing, I got off my drums and ran to his piano, and began to climb on. "Josh what are you doing?"

"Practicing my backflips, dude." I finished with a huge grin. Tyler smiled right away so it's pretty obvious he figured out what was going on.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed a show more than tonight. It was such a relief to know that she's okay and talking to me, at least I know she's alive... It still bummed me out that she wasn't coming to the show in two days but still, I was so happy she was back.

My Point of View

Approaching Sarah's door, I lightly knocked using the back of my hand and she quickly told me to go away. I opened it anyway, and saw her sitting at her window, watching it snow.

"I thought I told you to go away..." she told me bitterly, not even attempting to turn to look at me.

"Hey Sarah....you want to go to a concert with me Friday?" my voice cracked halfway through the question. Why was I nervous?

I saw her back straighten. She wheeled herself around and asked, "What concert?"

"I dunno, just some lamo band. I think they're called twenty øne piløts or something like that?" I shrugged, smiling.

The way her face lit up made the snow in the background look dull in comparison. "You guys are talking again?!"

Biting down on my bottom lip, I nodded. Sarah narrowed her eyes, and told me to prove it. I pulled my phone out, clicked on his contact, then tapped the green phone button-  putting it on speaker. She gasped and said, "YOU GOT HIS NUMBER?! AND WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THIS?"
