Adam's: POV

-Flashback-

November 11th 1920: London

The streets were packed with people, they talked or standing at the food stalls. Suddenly, I saw how a boy with dark hair and worn clothes, who stole a red apple and ran away. I followed him to a street corner. He was a thief but I couldn't be cold-hearted to this poor boy.

"Please sir, don't send the police after me." he begged. "I won't, what's your name?" I asked kindly. "William." he said polite and took a bite of his apple. "Nice to meet you, my name is Adam." I replied. "My parents died of an illness and I have lived in a orphanage since I was two, but later I ran away and began to live as a pickpocket." said William low.

"I'm sorry to hear, I hope you find a lovely family who can take care of you." I replied, and smiled. "We have the same hair and eyes color, you could be my father." said he hopefully. "I would love to take care of you, but I can't." I replied. "Why?" he asked gently. "I lost my husband and our son in a horrible fire and I don't have enough money to take care of a child." I said sadly and my dead heart burned. "I understand and I'm sorry for your loss." replied William.

Down at the harbor in a white house lives a loving couple, who wants to take care of a child. You'll have a good life with them, and forget that you have met me, it will be best for both of us. I said and looked deeply into his eyes.

William stood up and ran to his new family. "I will never forget you." I said to myself. I walked to a bar to drown my sorrows in blood. Sometimes I wished I could live a human life again.

-End of the flashback-
