Vanessa's POV
"I'm going out." I said. "Call me if there's something." replied Dia. "Nothing will happen." I said. "They said on the news that a crazed killer is on the loose." replied Dia worried. "Goodbye grandma." I said annoyed and walked out. I pulled up the hood on my hoddie and put on Tokio Hotel's song Don't Jump.
It wouldn't be long before she would get a phone call from the principal that would reveal all the times I had been playing truant from school. If only she knew about the bullying that has been going on for several months.
Suddenly, I found myself on an unknown street and I didn't know where I was. Then I heard a growl and I followed the sound to a dark corner.
My feet froze and I couldn't move. A person was pressed up against the wall and a dark-haired man drank his blood. Enzo had spoken the truth after all. The man dropped the empty body and turned around. It wasn't Adam who stood in front of me.
"Vlad Tepes." I said shocked. He put his cold hand on my mouth and spoke quietly. "Shhh, don't say my name out loud." he replied. "Why?" I asked even if I knew the answer. "I died 550 years ago, and I'm known in the history books." said Vlad. "I won't tell anyone, on my honor." I replied. "Good." said Vlad.
Dark clouds came up in the sky and the air became cooler. I shivered and Vlad put his jacket around me. "Thanks." I said. "It's best if you go home now, something horrible is coming." replied Vlad low. "Like what?" I asked and tried not to show how much I froze. "It's just a feeling." he said and I nodded.
"Oh my dear girl, what have you done? you're ice cold." said Dia worried when we arrived. "I found her without a jacket when I was on my way home." lied Vlad. "Make yourself a cup of hot tea before you get sick." said Dia and I went to the kitchen.
"Thanks for the help." she said. "You're welcome." replied Vlad. "She hasn't been herself since she had a fight with Enzo." she said. "I hope she feels better soon." replied Vlad. "She tried to kill herself a few years after her little sister's death." said Dia and tears ran down her cheeks. "I don't let anybody hurt her and I'm always here if you need me." replied Vlad and gave her a hug. "It means a lot." she said and he gave her a smile.
Vlad is so kind and I love how much he care about them❤️ I hope you liked this chapter.
