Vanessa's: POV

-Flashback-

The 15th of October year 2003 New York

"A storm is coming, we better go home." said Dia and packed down our stuff. We stepped into the car and a lightning cut through the sky. The rain was pouring down and the thunder boomed.

"I forgot Fairy." said Alice and rushed out. "No, wait." I replied and ran after her. Alice ran very fast to be three years old. The rain whipped me in the face and I couldn't see my little sister. I called her name but got no answer.

Then I saw her little footsteps in the sand that led out to the water. The waves washed in a wet pink unicorn together with a thin body. I fell down on my knees and I lay down her head in my lap. She wasn't breathing and her lips was blue. I stroked her red hair and kissed her cold forehead.

I felt how grandma lifted up me in her arms and I held my sister's body close to me. I broke down when we got into the car again. Tears streamed down my face and grandma hugged us both. "She's dead." I said and my voice cracked. "I'm so sorry." replied Dia and tears ran down her cheeks. "Don't let me go." I said but I knew she would never open her eyes again.

-End of the flashback-
