Alex's: POV
Before any of us had time to say something the doorbell rang. I went to the door and opened. Outside stood mom and she hugged me tight. "Are you alright?" asked Lily worried. "I'm fine mom." I said. "Did something happen?" she asked. "I just want to go home." I said and we went to the car.

Short flashback
"I'm so tired of your lies, go back to your new woman, I don't care." shouted Kate and tears ran down her cheeks. "With pleasure." said Ian and slammed the door. Kate sat down on the floor and more tears come. "Mommy?" asked two years old Alex. "Oh my dear boy." she said and hugged her son. "Daddy!" he replied. "Daddy has a new family and he won't come back." said Kate and her voices cracked. "But we have each other." replied Alex with a smile. "Yes!" she said and smiled too.
I started my computer when we came home and found article about Vanessa that she had stabbed her best friend to death after she had seen her kiss her boyfriend. "You know that she has murdered her friend?" Lexi had spoken the truth. I closed my computer and sighed. I should've listened to her. I opened my phone and saw four unread text message from Vanessa.
V/ I wanted to tell you, but I wasn't sure if you would believe me.
V/ Where are you?
V/ I'm so sorry.
V/ Please, don't hate me.
I closed my phone and went to my desk. I sat down at the chair and wrote a letter.
To Vanessa. I have heard lies in my whole life. Dad always lied that he had to work over, but instead he went home to his new woman and her children.
He never loved me or mom, we were nothing to him. I didn't know you had a boyfriend or that you killed your friend becuase she happened to kiss him. I'm sure she didn't mean it. I think we need a break and I hope you understand. I'm sorry. From Alexander Gilbert.
I put the letter in her bag in school the next day. Maybe we'll be together again, but right now it's best if we stay away from each other. I thought for myself and walked out.
