The doorbell rang and I rushed downstaris to opened the door. Outside stood Hector and Gabby with her daughter in her arms. "She's so beautiful." I said and platted her cheek. "She really is." replied Gabby with a smile. They went in and we walked to the living room and sat down on the couch. Gabby lay her down in my arms and she looked at me with her blue eyes.
"My beloved goddaughter." I said and kissed her forehead and Victoria giggled softly. "You're an wonderful godmother to her." replied Hector. "Thank you." I said a bit uncertain. "I know it can be a bit nervous at first, but you two will form a strong band together." replied Hector. I looked at my goddaughter and knew he was right.

Later in the afternoon we went to the cemetery to lay flowers on Laura and my sister's grave. "I'm sorry." I said and I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you." whispered Laura and I smiled. I put down a red rose on Alice's grave and stroked her gravestone. "I love you so much and you'll always be in my and dad's heart forever." I said. "So beautiful." replied Gabby. "Thanks." I said and stood up. "They'll always be near you." replied Hector. "Yes they will." I said.
