"A snowstorm is on the way." said mom's friend. "We promise to hurry home and we have Zeus with us." replied Nelly. I platted my dog and he licked my hand. "Be careful." said Bill and gave us a goodbye hug. "Promise." replied mom and started the snowmobile. My dog sat in my lap and I held him in a tight grip.

(Cam's dog Zeus)
We drove into the forest and the weather got worse. Heavy dark clouds hung in the air and the wind was icy cold. I buried my face in his warm flu and it helped a bit. Then I heard wolves howling and mom increased the speed.
"We're soon home, honey." said mom calmly. "I'm so scared Zeus." I replied and hugged him. "Hold on." said Nelly when she drove across a frozen lake. For a moment I thought the lake would hold our weight, but then I heard a crunching sound when the ice cracked and we fell into the icy water.

"Cam open your eyes, please say something." said Jacob panicked. I opened my eyes and saw my uncle. He hugged me tight and wappred a blanket around me. "Jacob." I replied. "I thought I had lost you." he said. "Mom!" I said. "She's dead, Zeus tried to save her too but she begged him to save you instead." replied Jacob sadly. "You are our hero." I said and hugged my dog.
