life death and love
that's all there isthe dreams we
dream in between
are just that --
but they're more.who's to say this world
ain't a dream?that's the beauty of it,
the beauty our world.feel the wind blow through
your hair, hear the rustling of the leaves,
everything will be alright,
time will heal us,
troubles will pass
there's no need to worry
no need to worry at all.life death and love
in betweenthe sun is warm and golden
no matter what the politicians say
the sky is blue and beautiful
a million reasons to be smiling
every daylook around, where's the joy?
shrivelled hearts and empty facesthey've turned a blind eye
to their own drowning soul
deluding themselves
that there exists another daythere's only right now
that's all there ever isyou dig it?
someday we'll be gone
buried six feet down
but flowers will sprout
from our burial ground
we'll still be a part
of the worldthat's groovy
that's groovy
you dig it?why waste your time
on hating,
when this is all you've got?ever seen the dewdrops
on a spider's stretchy web?yeah, man,
just like that --
just sit back
and appreciate
the way the planet
spins.
