Aashi's P.O.V.
"And with every passing day, I started loving you even more. You're the only one who dared to make her way in my heart and then made me fall for you because of your stubbornness. I can't get enough of you ever and that's why I want to keep you with me forever. I love you, I really do", Drew said and leaned to kis- ..
"Aashu", my mom called me breaking the flow of the movie going in my mind whilst reading my novel.
With a heavy heart, I closed my novel and yelled back, "Coming maa". Drew was about to kiss Maria finally but my mom ruined that moment.
I came downstairs jumping on stairs and reached straight to the kitchen passing through the drawing hall where my brother was watching some stupid football match and my dad was reading newspaper.
"Yes maa?", I asked.
"Come, help me in serving the dinner", Mom said and I sighed.
"Why didn't you asked Avi to help you", I complained with a scowl on my face. Avinash Mehra, my elder brother who is five years older than me and had graduated from college. He's doing job in an MNC.
"You both kids are useless. I called him before you but he said he's busy so I called you", Mom said again giving lecture on how her children are useless and lubber. I rolled my eyes and helped her in serving the dinner.
"What happened maa? Did Aashu do something destructive again in kitchen?", Avi said teasing me and I just stick my tongue to him.
"You keep quiet Avi. You and your sister both are number one lazy kids, I've ever seen. You never help me in any chores, just keep busy yourself in your mobiles and friends. I wish I could destroy your mobiles, only then you could do something in your life. I'm so fed up of you two", Mom said serving our food and her mobile lecture again started making me and Avi whine.
"Kids, shutup. Your mom is right, you both do nothing whole day rather than surfing in mobile and harming your eyes", dad said taking mom's side.
"But dad, I work whole day!. I got tired. Aashi is at home from past two months, ask her to help maa, she's does nothing at all", Avi said playing his cards.
Manipulative person.
"Hey, that's not fair. I helped maa in cleaning the house", I kept my excuse.
"No more compliants. You both will do the dishes tonight after dinner", Dad said and I glared at Avi who was looking back at me with same look. Mom was grinning happily and I just huffed.

"You know what if you had helped mom before only, we don't have to stuck here", Avi complained wiping the wet plates.
"I can say the same", I replied.
"But you're free at home and do nothing whilst I'm all day in office, working so much and now I'm doing Extra work because of you. Can't you do one thing which is productive and not waste your valuable time in reading your stupid, love story novels and writing those cheesy lines in your diary", Avi said making a puke face.
