Aashi's P.O.V.
"Fest?", I asked looking at the pamphlet in my hand.
"Yep and I want you to participate in it", Samar said taking a seat next to me.
"Well what make you think that I'm good enough in atleast any one of things written in this pamphlet. Better don't think me as a scholar just because I wore glasses", I said with a chukle.
"Why not? You are one of the intelligent girl I've ever seen. You always do your homework on time and help me also. Ok, how about dance?", He asked.
"Nope. I'm sorry but apart from being good in nothing, I've stage fear also. But hey, I'll come to support you for sure", I said.
"Such a spoilsports you're", he huffed and I sighed.
"Have you asked your girlfriend about this fest?", I asked teasing him.
"She's already taking part in fashion show. I hate it when boys stare at her", he said and I chukled.
"But she's head over heels for you. Don't worry she won't ditch you", I said and he smirked.
"Ok. I'll see you later. I've to distribute these pamphlets to other students too. Bye", he said getting up from the chair.
"Bye", I said and sipped my coffee alone.
It had been a month that Samar and I are friends now. Being with him, I also realised that I was merely attracted to him but he's just a friend to me. He's not a boyfriend material at least not for me. One of my classmate Sana asked him out one day and he also accepted her proposal. Some guts that girl have, I must say.
Nia and Jay are finally friends. Jay don't skip any chance to show his liking for Nia and somewhere Nia too had started liking him which I feel but I can be wrong. I asked her about this but she gave one typical answer saying, "We're just friends". Still, I'm happy that there love story had at least got a push. Jay is now a good friend of mine, at least I can say that.
Parth and Noor are on same track. He had one sided crush for her and she's Oblivious to the fact. Noor had been to London with her family on a trip, some lucky girl she's and she had brought gifts for Prinku but she doesn't show them to me. What can I expect? I've heard that she's taking part in dance competition and I hope that she doesn't make a fool of herself there. No, I'm not jealous. Noor is actually not a good dancer.
Talking about Dhruv then I recently found that he broke up with Ami only because Kabir Monkey Malhotra had a crush on her but Dhruv also had developed feelings for her which I can see in his eyes but he's too shy to express his liking.
Mr. Monkey Malhotra is trying hard to impress Ami as if a person like him can ever impress a nice girl like Ami. Ami is so good to be his girlfriend, she deserves someone like Dhruv. Dhruv is a treat to eyes, boys like him should be manufactured more by the god and not idiot stupid egoistic fools like Mr. Monkey Malhotra.
Kabir and I are on cold war. We glare at each other whenever our ways met and I'm so happy that he stay away from me. I wonder one slap could turn one person so much. I wish I would've slapped him the very first time I've met him.
Finishing my coffee, I dumped the disposable glass it in the bin and walked out of the canteen holding my bag. My free period had still half an hour to finish so I walked to auditorium to sit in audience section of course. Nia is still in her class and I've not more friends here except Nia and Samar.
