Chapter 22 - Dance!!

Kabir's P.O.V.

"Let's make a plan. Apart from our singing competition, we've to do well in dance and in the play too. We've to get atleast one position out of top three in each one", I said looking at Noor, Ami, Jay, Dhruv and Nia too who had joined our dance group.

"But where are we supposed to practice? We can't miss our all classes", Dhurv said.

"Also, dance coordination needs time", Nia said.

"And Noor takes most of time to catch steps", Ami said and Noor rolled her eyes.

"This time I won't take time. I've been dancing for like a year. I'm taking regular dance classes", Noor said and we all nodded.

"Cool. We'll practice our guitar practice in college only and the play will be practiced after college hours as we've students from different years. And about dance pratice, you guys suggest something", I said and Parth came with a tray of coffee for all of us.

"You all can do it at your house only. Anyone who would like to volunteer?", Parth asked.

"My house had two empty rooms. We can try there", Noor suggested.

"But you'll be having guests soon, Aashi told me", Nia said.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot", Noor said.

"Then how about your place Kabir?", Jay asked.

"I had a small brother who needs to study so, it would cause disturbance", I reasoned out.

"I'm not into your dance team and I need to study for my project so not at my place also", Dhurv said.

"My place is far from here", Nia said.

"Same", Parth said.

"My house is going under renovation so it can't be at my place too", Jay said.

"Wow seems like we've not a single house to practice. What a waste", I said and sipped my coffee. They all also picked up their mugs and started thinking.

"Nia", another voice caught our attention and Miss. Spooky was coming towards us.

Why does she always have to show up?, I thought.

"Aashi. Come join us", Nia siad and I glared at her which she didn't notice.

"No, actually I'm going home early today. So, I thought to give you your notebook", Aashi said.

"Why are you going early?", Jay asked and I looked at him in disbelief.

Geez, why is he so interested?

"Oh my parents are going out to my cousins place. So, I've to go home as my brother is coming back. Someone have to be there", She said.

"You mean your house is empty for one week?", Parth said catching my attention.

Don't tell me they're actually thinking about it?

"Yeah, it's me and my brother", she said.

"Can we come to your place to practice? Aashi, say yes please", Noor said and I choked in my coffee. They all looked at me and then again looked at Aashi.
