Kabir's P.O.V.

It was ten at night and I'm still sleepless. Standing next to the window of the room, I'm smiling like a fool. I dared to kiss Aashi, the girl who is as innocent as a child. Her soul is so pure and so naive that she needs to be protected all the damn time. Looking at the stars in the sky, I'm just playing our kiss in my mind on repeat mode. I didn't see Aashi after that. She must have been hiding in her room. I know she's just way too shy. This was her first kiss. I never meant to steal it from her but scratch that. My feelings overruled my senses and her approval gave me more confidence. I glanced at my two best friends sleeping soundly. I envy them. I can't sleep and they're wandering their dreamland. I picked up my mobile from my bed and walked out of my room.

I took out Aashi's name from my contacts and edited her name. I added a heart after her name, 'Spooky', on my mobile. I smiled to myself. The girl I never ever cared to look twice is making my heart skip a beat at the present moment. Who would have thought that I, Kabir Malhotra, will be mad for a simple girl like Aashi? I'm so grateful to my stars up there in the sky to bring her in my life. I couldn't ask for more. She's the most genuine and real girl I can ever meet.

I texted her, "Are you sleeping?". She didn't reply. Her last seen was four hours ago. I kissed her exactly two hours ago. I'm still counting the time. I'm that insane. Sue me. Biting my lips to stop myself from grinning like a creep, I kept my mobile in my trouser's pocket and walked downstairs. I crossed the hall and reached the garden. The Atmosphere was smooth and cold. I asked a waiter to bring coffee for me. Very few people were awake now. Most of the family members slept because tomorrow everyone has to get up early. It's Haldi function in the morning and Mehandi in the night. I hope Aashi wrote my name in her palm.

Aren't you being way too forward?, My heart whispered.

Maybe. But I don't care!!

I was sitting on a bench when I felt someone's presences next to me. It was Naina. She passed me a smile. I saw her holding a cup of coffee like me.

"Hey", she said.

"Hey", I replied and then I read her. She's so perfect. Her perfectly manicured hands, that gorgeous body and perfect diamond shaped face with big brown eyes can make you fall for her in less than five seconds but I felt nothing. I laughed to myself. Am I for real? This most gorgeous girl in the entire hotel failed to make me feel anything. On the contrary, the most simple and a bit stupid innocent pair of brown-black eyes who always complain when they look at me drives me crazy.

What are you doing to me, Spooky?

"Why are you still awake?", Naina asked bringing me out of my Aashi's world.

"I tried but failed to sleep. So came to have a stroll", I said, "I ended up drinking coffee". I showed my coffee cup to her and she chuckled.

"Same", she said and then she lifted her left hand to remove strands of hair from her face. My eyes caught the bracelet in her hand. Wait a second. This isn't a bracelet. This was the necklace I gave to Aashi a few hours back. The moon and star necklace. Why is Naina wearing it?

"Who gave you that?", I asked holding Naina's hand. I examined her bracelet to be sure.

"It's mine", she said freeing her hand from my hold.
