Aashi's P.O.V.
"Aashu, be fast", Avi shouted from outside.
"Coming", I said and immediately wore the black falt heels and ran out of the house.
"You're always late", he complained.
"Sorry, I couldn't find my shoes on time", I said and pulled the seat belt whilst he started the car.
Mom and dad had already left for Noor's house and I was waiting for Avinash to come from office so that we can go together. I had worn a white and blue polka dots crop top and paired it with black jagging and had put on black flats. I had worn a watch on my one hand and had left my hair open because I just got a haircut and it's the best time to flaunt my new hairstyle.
I took a lot and lot of selfies whilst waiting for Avinash and now was deciding which one to add on social site. I added my one pic on Facebook, a less better on Watsapp and a medium one on Instagram.
"Can you keep your mobile at a side for sometime? This poor machine too needs air", Avi commented.
There are two most annoying habits of my brother which I hate the most from the list of things I hate about him.
One, he's the most antisocial person and he thinks that people should not waste their time on social media. I mean how could one survive without internet and these social sites. He's a wierdo.
Second, he hates and hates romantic novels and love stories. He's way too practical and picky whenever it comes to chose job, friends and any other thing, that's why he's still single.
I put my mobile on side and turned on the music. He kept quiet, because he doesn't talk that much. He's boring, I pity the girl who'll marry my brother because he's way too disciplined when comes to rules and regulations. But with me he's a kid, he know how to make me smile, because he's my only friend.
I do have some friends in my school but they're just friends. I mean I never had any best friend ever, I never needed one because I had Noor. But, now I guess I need one.
Avi parked the car in the parking area of the building and we both came out.
"I'm gonna die out of boredom", I said and Avi just smiled.
We both entered the lift and pressed the sixth button. In no time we were outside Noor's home. Avi pressed the door bell and Noor opened the door.
"Avi, Aashu, welcome", she said in a very stylish way. My mom adore her because she had learnt the art of speaking like some high society girls. I can't do that because I'm Aashi and I'm no good in anything.
"Hey", I and Avi said in unison and entered. I took my time to notice Noor. She had worn a black color one piece reaching her knees and her god gifted beautiful silky hairs were nicely tied up in pony. Gosh, this girl knew that how to ace her beauty even more.
Me and Avi greeted Natasha Aunt, Harshit uncle by folding our palms in front of them, just as we Indians do. Aarav too came and shake hands with us and then left to play with his toy truck once again.
We all settled on the couch and had cold drinks and snacks because it was still sometime for the dinner. All elders were busy in talking and telling us about their old stories which we had heard a thousand times before also but still we smiled fakely trying to show our participation.
