Chapter 10

Recap: Sabrina meets a really cute and nice guy named Nick Preston at the park while listening to music. They both have many things in common. But, Sabrina is dating Zayn. She later finds out that Nick and Zayn are cousins and that she likes Nick. Sabrina Karen Tyler is currently stuck in the middle.

BACK TO THE STORY:

I went to visit my Mom and brother, Jamie, at home. It's Spring Break and so far I'm doing well in my classes: B+ or higher on everything.

I was really nervous that I changed because I haven't seen them since December (Christmas).

As soon as I got to the house, I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. About 15 seconds later, my mom and Jamie appeared at the door.

"SABRINA! MY DARLING. HOW ARE YOU?!", my mother asked.

"Mom! I'm doing fine.", I replied.

"Hey Sabrina.", said Jamie. We did our secret handshake.

"Hey, Jamie."

After all that, we went to eat lunch at a restaurant downtown called

"Lé Café de France".

"How's school?", Mom asked.

"School is fine. I met many new people. I even have a boy-", I said. Oops. Was I ready to tell them about Zayn?

"You have a boy what?", Jamie asked.

"I have some boys that are just friends. I don't have a boyfriend.", I replied way too quickly.

"Good. So any names that I should know about? This is for your 20th Birthday Party."

"Mom. I don't need a birthday party!"

"Sabrina, yes you do! You only turn 20 once." She was right. I could use a break from all this work.

"Okay. Names are Zayn, Tash, Matt, Nick, Audrey, Sam, and Tony." I named some people on my class that I've gotten close with.

My mom wrote the names down.

We continued with our meals.

After lunch, we went to the Multiplex Mall and straws shopping.

I went into the music store to look for a new tuner for my guitar. I saw someone that looked really familiar.

"Sabrina? It's me, Nick, from the park.", Nick said.

"Hi, Nick. What's up?", I asked.

"I'm just looking new music to listen to. Sleeping with Sirens came out with a recent album."

"Yea, I know. So um, I was wondering. My mom is planning a 20th birthday party. My birthday is June 7 , so the party should be around that time."

"Um. Yea. Sure. I'll come."

"Great. So, I'll see you around?"

"Wait. Actually, I was going to ask if I could take you put for coffee sometime? This isn't date. But I was just wondering, so we can catch up on things."

"Um. Let me think about it and I'll text you?"

"Yea, sure. That's good. So um bye."

"Bye." I walked away. Did Nick Preston asked me on a disguised date? I'll have to think about it. He said it isn't a date. So, I guess I'll say yes. I don't know I have to think about it.

That night I went into my room and started listening to Sleeping With Sirens: James Dean and Audrey Hepburn.
