Chapter 9

Nick seems like a really interesting guy. We have so many things in common. We like the same bands, except he doesn't like One Direction. We both live in the same state. He both had really deep pasts. But wait, Nick was just a guy that I met at a park.

I couldn't like him. I'm dating Zayn. But even if I did like Nick, I wouldn't go out with him. He looks like he's in a relationship.

I stayed up late last night thinking about Nick and studying.

I woke up the next morning with a minor fever.

Tash decided to stay and take care of me.

"Thank you, Tash, for staying with me. You really didn't have to. I could've called Za-"

"No. It's okay. It's fine. By the way, have you met anyone new?"

"Why do you ask?"

"You always seem to meet someone new."

"Oh. Actually, I did meet this guy named Nick Preston. We have a lot in common. He's cute, but I don't think I'll go out with him. Besides, I have Zayn."

"Choose whatever your heart tells you to. Your heart will lead you along the way."

"You know what, Tash? You're right. But this involves much thinking."

Tash's phone beeped. She looked at her message.

"Wait. What's his name again?" She looked worried.

"Um. Nick Preston. Why?"

"Is this him?" She showed me a picture of him. That looked like him.

"Yes."

"Sabrina, Nick and Zayn are cousins."

"WHAT?"

"It says here online. Matt sent me a link." I took the phone from her.

"OH MY GOSH." I started to tear up.

"Sabrina. Sh. It's okay."

"No it isn't. I fell for people who are cousins."

"Wait. You like Nick?!"

"Um. Maybe."

"Wow. Stuck in the middle. It's okay."

I really don't know about Zayn and Nick right now. I like them both, but I'm with Zayn. If he finds out I like Nick, he'll be crushed. But i like them both.

What do I do? 😩
