The spring breeze blew through my window as I set down my keys on the counter. As usual me and my fiance's dog came over to greet me, but my daily peck on the cheek from Josh never came.

I wonder where he is? I thought. I just assumed he had some band stuff to do, I mean as popular as he's become, I don't expect him to be home at every waking moment.

I sighed and plopped down on the couch. Almost on cue, I got a text from Josh.

Jishua- Hey sweetie, sorry I'm not home rn, I have to go to LA for a interview and that boring crap. I'll call you tonight. Btw can u go get the mail, love u❤️

Me- Love u 2, u better slay that interview.

Jishua- Definitely lol, Oh dinner's on the stove and I recorded The Notebook for u. Check under the bed 4 a surprise ;)💖

Those were the things that I loved about Josh. He cared about me so much. He almost knows me better than my own twin (Phil if you forgot) so he knows how to make me happy. And everytime he leaves for a trip, he always makes sure I will be okay without him here.

Being with him makes me feel like I'm in highschool again. Senior year of course, before I met Josh, my life wasn't as 'picture perfect' as it is now. When I'm with him, I feel like I'm on cloud nine.

Luckily our relationship hasn't gone as badly as my other ones have. I mean my first relationship wasn't very good, considering he was gay and cheating on me. But he is my best friend to this day.  

There was always Da-

My thoughts were interrupted by my phone again.

Jishua- I know u forget things easily, so I'm gonna remind u to get the mail until u send me a pic of it😂

Me- Fine. U know me too well lol

I sat my phone down and headed downstairs to my mailbox. Once I was back in my apartment, I texted Josh. Waiting for a reply, I decided to skim through all the mail. I stopped when a letter was addressed to me. 

The letter read,

Dalten High's Highschool Reunion

Class of '08

Please come back for a night of celebration next Friday at 9 p.m.

Highschool sweethearts Y/N Lester and Joshua Dun will perform.

One thought came into my head after reading this letter.
