Chapter 2
Jay's POV:
I came in for some cookies and ran up to my room. I checked my phone and took out my iPad. I started on my science homework. Then I heard a knock. Shoot.
"C-Come in." I stuttered. The door swung open. It was Dad. Someone help me.
Justin's POV:
"Hey, sweetie." I said sweetly, sitting on the bed.
"Um...hi...dad." She said nervously.
"You okay?" I asked her.
"Uh...yeah." She said. She's lying. I know it.
"Jay, are you okay?" I asked her for the second time.
"Yes." She repeated more confidently.
"Jamie," I said sternly.
"I. Am. Fine." She said, looking me dead in the eyes, annoyed. I was getting angry. She knows I hate lying.
