Chapter 44

Justin's POV:

I bring the soup back to the kitchen and go back to Jay's room. I barge in without knocking and she looks up startled.

"Hi baby." I said sitting on the edge of the bed. She goes back to typing without even talking.

"Who are you texting?" I say, trying to make conversation.

"Jason." She says flatly, not looking up. I hum in realization.

"I have errands to run. Want anything?" I say. I finally get her to look at me but I frown when she shakes her head no.

"Okay then." I say and leave to go to the store.

*At the store*

Justin's POV:

I check my list to see what Y/N wanted me to buy.

List:

Milk

Eggs

Bread

Snack food for Jenny and Jay

I go to the Dairy section of the store and get the milk and eggs. Then I get the bread. What does Jay and Jenny like for snacks? I call Jay and after five rings, she picks up.

Justin- Hi, what do you and your sister like for snacks?

Jay- Jenny likes gold fish. You don't need to get me anything.

Justin- Okay. Love you.

Jay- Goodbye.

*ends convo*

Only then do I realize how bad I messed up but I came home to a mess and they need to learn that is not acceptable.

I expect them to clean after themselves and not trash the house. I get the goldfish and pay. Then race home because I didn't want the house to be destroyed like last time.

I came home to see the house was exactly the way I left it. I went to put away the food and I see Y/N.

"Hey baby." I say as I'm putting the milk and eggs away.

"Hey Justy." She saids kissing me on the cheeks.

"How was taking care of Jay?" She asked.

"Pretty good. She didn't talk to me much." My voice saddens at the thought of my daughter not speaking to me.

"Oh." Is all she says before she leaves.
A/N: Poor Justin. :( I feel bad.
