Chapter 28
*Next Day*
Jay's POV:

I'm suspended for a week. So is Maddie. I'm in my bedroom shuffling through my songs. I had a playlist of all my dad's songs. I heard a knock on my door but ignored it. The person came in anyway.

"Jamie Marie Bieber." I heard my dad say, angrily. Great. Can this get any worse?

"Yes." I say, uninterested. He grabs my phone out of my hands. I stare at him.

"No phone. No laptop. No friends over. No Jason. For two weeks." He said clearly. I scoffed.

"Watch it." He saids. What else can he do to me? He already taken my life away for two weeks.

"Whatever." I mumble, turning over on my bed.

"What did you say?" My dad saids turning around,
getting annoyed and angry. I turn my head to the side to face him.

"Nothing." I say, tired from the long day.
"You have dance in a hour." He saids. Fantastic!
More Maddie to deal with. I get on my dance clothes and get my shoes for hip hop. Why does Maddie have to take all of my classes? I go downstairs to see Jenny standing in my way.

"Move." I say, not wanting to deal with anymore people today.

"Why? Dad already grounded you." She states. Does she want to get punched?

"Just move." I say, pushing her out of my way.

"Rude." She mumbles. That's it.

"YOU KNOW WHAT JENNY! I'VE BEEN HAVING A CRAPPY DAY SO STAY OUT OF MY GOD DAMN WAY YOU BRAT!" I scream, losing all of my self control, slamming her into the wall. She starts to tear up but I ignore it. I hear mom and dad running towards the screaming.

"What's going on here?!" My mom saids, worried. She sees the tears in Jenny's eyes.

"Jenny. Come here." My parents say, calmer and hugging her. You're kidding me right? I got punched by my ex-best friend and you hug my sister! I go to the car but I stop when I hear voices.

"Jamie." My parents say in unison.
"What?" I say, still angry about this whole day. My dad looks at me furiously.

"You're not going to dance today." He saids, grabbing me and pulling me to the couch. Thank god! I sit there, not saying anything.

"What's going on with you?" He saids, sternly. I stay silent.

"Jamie!" He barks. I stare at him dead in the eyes.
"Nothing." I say emotionless. That's when he snaps.
"NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LIE ANYMORE TO ME YOUNG LADY! YOU WILL TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON EVEN IF I HAVE TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT!" He screams. I sit there with a shocked expression on my face. He never really yelled at us before. I heard a knock on the door. Someone opens the door and I see that it's Jason.

"Hello, Mr. Bieber." He saids.
"I saw the whole fight. It was Maddie who threw the first punch." He explains. My dad's look immediately softens and looks at me. I nod. He dives down and hugs me looking like he was about to cry.

"I'm so sorry." He mumbles over and over.
"It's okay, dad." I say, hugging back.

"Thank you." I mouth to Jason as he smiles.
