Chapter 53
Justin's POV:
I was getting a drink of water when I heard the door open. Jay is home. I watch from the kitchen door with a smile forming on my face. Jay walks right up stairs without noticing me. I follow her into her bedroom and tap her the shoulder. She whips around, startled.
"Goodnight sweetie." I say and leave.
*Next Morning*
Jay's Pov:
I get up and walk downstairs to see my family is eating breakfast. They are all smiling and laughing.
"Hi." The laughing stops and they turn to face me.
"Hi Jay." Jenny saids with a warm smile. No rude remark? I return it with a fake smile. What the hell is going on?
"Breakfast is ready." Mom interrupts my thoughts. Cereal, freshly cut apples and fruit punch are at my place at the table. My family hasn't been this nice to me in a month. Am I missing something?
