Chapter 40

Jay's POV:

I saw Dad's car pulled up and I panicked! The house was a mess and I could see Dad had an angry expression on his face. Oh crap! There were dirty plates out and the kitchen had split grape juice on the white titled floor, paper towels everywhere and much worse. He walked in the door and his eyes widened. Mom followed and did the same.

"JAMIE! JENNY!" Dad screamed as we tried to sneak off to our bedrooms. I could tell he was going to ground us forever. We turned around sheepishly.

"Get down here. Now." He said using his index finger in a "come here" motion. We walked slowly but he was getting impatient.

"TODAY!" He barked and we quickened our pace. Then he started full blow screaming at us.

"I LEFT THIS HOUSE FOR A FEW HOURS AND YOU ALREADY MADE IT LIKE YOU PARTIED LIKE A COUPLE OF SIXTEEN YEAR OLDS THAT WERE DRUNK!" He screamed as his face was turning a new shade of red. We were too frozen with fear to speak. He ran his hand through his hair.

"You're not going on tour with me." He stated. I could see Jenny's eyes were brimming with tears as were mine.

"Honey. Baby. Isn't that a little harsh?" Mom cut in, trying to calm him down but she failed.

"No. You're not going on tour with me and that's final." He stated as the tears fell down my face.

"N-No. D-Dad. P-Please." I choked on several sobs.

"Go to your rooms." He stated. We obeyed and went to our rooms.

I cried into my pillow as I started mumbling to myself. This is all my fault.
