Isabelle

A small ship was ready. A few trusted soldiers were with us at the bay, where we'll sail the spies to their demise. And by demise, I mean their home. And by home, I mean their 'worst nightmare.'

We chose to keep this a secret. So, only the four of us and these soldiers know. We didn't wanna scare the people anymore. Not even the royal family nor the ministers were informed. We let them be thinking that everything's okay now, as it will be once this is done.

"Get the spies." Scarlett ordered.

And at once, two soldiers arrived with the spies trailing weakly behind them. Their hands were tied behind them. A few more ropes were prepared for them for the sail to Massah. After they were brought out, soldiers made them climb the ship, where they were tied once more, tighter, in a buoyant, wooden cage on the ship.

The plan was, once we get to Massah, we'll let the cage float to the shores of the kingdom and let the soldiers find them. We'll also leave the bottle tied to the flag on top of that cage.

"I'm ready." Scarlett began to board the ship.

But before she could even take another step, I quickly went aboard first, surprising the others.

"Isabelle, what are you doing?" She questioned.

"I'm coming with you...to Massah." I stated firmly.

She let out a smirk, probably assuming that I was pulling her leg, "Isa, you can't be serious. If this is personal, I'm gonna make sure they're gonna regret what they did to you."

"This isn't personal." - I countered before adding - "Okay. Maybe it is. But I still wanna come."

"Isabelle." This time, it was Aspen, and behind him was Daniel.

I shook my head, "Whatever you're gonna say, it won't change my mind. I wanna come."

"I wasn't going to stop you." - Aspen then took a sword from one of the soldiers - "I'm coming with you."

"What?!" Scar exclaimed.

"Hey, you can't leave me behind." Daniel said, climbing aboard as well.

Scar placed a hand on her forehead and sighed, "Guys, this is a very dangerous delivery, not a leisure hike!"

I chuckled at Scarlett, placing a hand on her shoulder, "Then, count us in."

"But -"

"This was my idea in the first place." - Aspen climbed the ramp - "I should see it through."

Scarlett unsheathed her sword and tried to block Aspen's path, but he blocked the sword with his own as well, looking calm and cool as he did.

"This is my job. I'm the chief. I'm the captain." Scar gritted. Did she really wanna do this on her own that bad? Or did she just want some 'alone time' with the spies? Some terrifying alone time. No one has ever been alone with this girl mad and survived. At least, that's what I heard.

"Well, this was my plan. I'm the king. I am Aspen." He retorted.

Scarlett raised a brow, "What does your name have to do with you getting aboard?"

"Everything." He winked. Seriously, does Aspen have a death wish?

Scarlett blinked once, twice, and then a couple of times more. Finally, she sighed, withdrawing her sword.

"Fine. Climb aboard, but behave."

"Why?" - Aspen scoffed - "This is my ship. If anything, you -"

"Before I kill you, Aspen." She glared, pointing at the ship.
