Nova's POV

Luxe has been so happy since Adam went back to college. I've been texting him everyday, and we have a streak going on Snapchat. Luxe checks in to make sure my streak with her is still longer than mine with him.

Luxe has since died her hair a grey color, going along with the Pinterest trend, which I think suits her nicely. Her parents don't quite agree. Especially because she didn't tell them she was dying it.

Our art class rotates through projects using different mediums and now we are working with pottery. I love using the potter's wheel, and Luxe likes it too but today she was awfully distracted.

Her eyes kept flitting over to the other side of the room. For a moment, she was just staring off into the distance and completely forgot she was still working with clay.

"Luxe! Your vase!" I called to her, forcing her eyes to look at the project she was destroying while not paying attention. The wheel was still spinning, and her hands had still been on the base which totally messed up its shape.

"Oh! Right. Sorry." Luxe attempted to fix her project but couldn't she she needed to start over. While she went to get more clay, I looked over to see where she might have been looking at found it. Or should I say, him.

Ash Wilson. The art clique's bad boy. He spends his time in the tattoo parlor, getting tattoos but also drawing them. Rumors say that he's been tattooing for actual customers at this local shop in town. He has gorgeous hair which he dies platinum blonde but it's normally brown. Ash wears a lip ring which freaks me out, but Luxe is totally into it.

Him being a tattoo artist doesn't hurt either.

Once Luxe came back with her materials, she was doing very well with her new vase.

"Go talk to him." I said without even looking at her.

"What? Who?" She asked innocently, hiding her blush.

"You know who. Now go." I demanded, focusing on the cookie jar that I'm making.

"It's not that easy, Nova. Can't I just admire him from afar? He doesn't even know me and most likely hates me--" I interrupted before she could continue stalling.

"When I first talked to your brother I was scared as hell. I thought he would literally kill me but he didn't and I survived. Now stop making excuses." I whispered so he couldn't hear me. The creaking of the pottery wheels also helped muffle my voice.

"See how well that worked out for you! You've been at this for two months and you're still not dating him. I don't want that. I actually want a chance with this guy. And besides, you must have found my brother on a good day because he would have killed you if he was in his usual mood. Trust me." Luxe stopped peddling the wheel and looked at me as I was chuckling to myself.

"I have an idea. Let's make another deal. How about I show you how it's done first. If your brother and I make it one month as a couple, you have to go and talk to Ash. How does that sound?" I put out my clay stained hand for her to shake.

Luxe smirked. "You wouldn't last a day with my brother. Good luck. At this rate, I'll never have to talk to Ash. I can just watch him at a distance."

She shook my hand and we both smiled.

Two deals, two boys, one month, and one lip ring. Someone help me.
