The walk to school was quite refreshing since I hadn't been outside since the weekend started. The fresh morning breeze mixed with the smell of pine cone trees was absolutely wonderful. It was just something I enjoyed.

I've been living in this town for three months now before that I was living in a group home in  Tampa Florida. They shipped me off here after the one I was staying in burnt down due to a fire. They said it was an accident but I know damn well it wasn't. Some of the kids that were there started stealing from the neighbors, vandalizing private property, throwing parties, it even went as far as one of the guys was having intercourse with one of the neighbours 12 year old daughter. The guy was 17.

Someone got fed up and well decided to get rid of the home. So they did what had to be done but truth be told the other neighbors were a little too satisfied if you asked me. They couldn't find another group home for me near by and I agreed to stay at a foster home instead. I mean after all I don't have parents so where would I go anyways?

School here was different from Florida you could say it was well more exciting.Especially since it was public school. It was my second experience going to one as they had found it better to home school us in the group homes because of how low funding was at the time.
My school was ordinary and most of the foster kids that I live with came here as well. I've only made one friend here in the last three months. It didn't bither me as I was never one to have huge amounts of friends but none the less I was thankful for the one I had right here.

After a five minute walk to school, I walked into the big building in the direction of my locker. The school was pretty clean, decent and civilized you could say. I walked down the corridor and down to my locker which was at the far end of the school.

I checked the time on my watch it was 8:43am. Immediately I checked my school timetable to find out what time my first class was on a Monday. Three months here and I still don't know my timetable. My first class for the day was English which started at 9:00am sharp.

Idly, I played 8 ball on my phone until it was five minutes to class. I knew my way around here so I walked hastily to class pushing the big white door open. I quickly slipped into my seat in the middle of the huge classroom and waited for my teacher to come to class.

As I was about to sit down he came into class looking as sharp as ever from his pink button up shirt-which surprisingly complimented his skin lovely, his tanned skin, long muscular legs to his  clean Italian leather shoes. He had captivating raven hair, well chiseled jawline, perfect lips and amazing smile. He was as they say a sight for sore eyes.

The man who I have just described to you is in fact my English teacher Mr.Daniels. I won't even lie, I may be terrible at English but coming to class everyday was worth it nonetheless.  Mr.Daniels opened his mouth to talk and all the girls and I do mean all stared at him dreamily while he apologized for being late.

I thought to myself teachers like this get an unfair advantage because of the way they look but you can't stop him from being educated now can you? I asked my self. He was a great teacher anyways and at the end of the day I get to be educated while showing appreciation for his beauty.

Immediately I was snapped out of my thinking by the class door opening up to reveal Miles Reed aka the  coolest dude at this school. Actually I only said that because he was my only friend here to be quite honest. We met back in the cafeteria during my third week of school.

Miles was the best though. I mean at least to me he was. Miles was actually from Hawaii and moved here to Chicago at the age of eight remembering that from memory. Miles grew out his hair. It was the exact same length as mine but he made it work. His skin wasn't pale but it didn't have a tan either. Miles was captivating to the eye but I didn't see him in an attractive way.

He was my friend nothing more nothing less. Miles plopped down on the chair beside mine and blew out a breath which I assume he had built up from rushing to get to class. "Hey Shay" he chirped. "Hi Miles" I answered back quite interested in hearing his reasoning for being so late and leaving me to thrive for dear life by myself.

"Missed me?" He said with a cocky grin on his face. "Yes you idiot" I muttered back "I was hanging on by a thread when I came to school and you weren't here. Where the hell were you?"  He chuckled a bit before telling me I needed to chill. "Whatever" I barked out turning my attention back to the board.

The rest of class was spent taking notes with me throwing occasional under the eye glances at Mr.Daniels. Pushing the door open I walked into the hallway with Miles following behind.

"Well Miles would you like to tell me why you were so late this morning" I turned facing him. He wasn't there! He was there just a second ago and now he's no where to be found. Okay then I whispered walking off to my next class.

The day basically went like this I go to class, pay attention, sees Miles he doesn't talk to me, I leave class try to confront him and he's nowhere to be found. Giving up after school I just grabbed my phone from my locker and walked the way home listening to music booming in my ears.
