NOT EVEN NECESSARY

We arrived in Jamaica a day ago but we're just settling in so we haven't exactly done anything as yet. The hotel was extremely big and most of all it was really clean.

Not that I'm a germaphobe but I do like when a place is clean and tidy. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the handle of the door which led into my room twisting. I snapped my head into that direction and a head of brown hair peeked out through the small crack of the door.

A pair of brown eyes searched the room to see if there was any form of life inside of the room. Finally his eyes landed on me and a smile rose up unto Miles' face. I was glad to see him again but I did feel somewhat uncomfortable with his presence.

That and he along with four other guys did see me looking like an idiot yesterday.  He cleared his throat before speaking to me. "Hey,uh you got a minute. I need to talk to you about something." His face showed nothing but seriousness and finality so I figured it must have been important.

"Sure, come in" I replied to him.
"Actually not here I need to talk to you anywhere but here." He explained to me curtly.
I didn't question it but instead nodded my head at him.
"Just let me grab something different to wear and I'll be out in a minute."

I decided on a multi colored flannel dress and a pair of brown sandals before leaving my room. Miles was patiently waiting for me in the lobby. He sat down in the chair near to the concierge's desk leaning forward as if he was deciding on something or as if he was contemplating between something.

I guess that's why he wanted to talk to me. I walked over to him and lightly tapped his shoulder. He jolted up out of his seat and tried to look anywhere but my eyes. Whatever that's about. " let's go" I said trying not to make things weird. He nodded and led me towards a door that led to outside of the hotel.

The bright Jamaican sun and extra tall palm trees stood outside of the hotel swaying in the light breeze. It was a good day to do something outside. "We're going for a little walk, up for it?" Miles inquired.
"Today's a beautiful day and I don't see why not . Lead the way sir" and I did a mock salute.

He walked ahead of me with short strides. His hair was tied into a small man bun at the back of his head. It looked cute because his hair wasn't exactly long or short it was at the right length and the hair that was to short to catch just stuck out freely.

As I walked the breeze was brushing against my dress and as we walked farther away from the concrete on the grounds of the hotel my feet were walking towards sand. The sand had a light color and the grains seemed strangely smaller than any other sand I've ever seen.

Soon we were pushing against small trees until we came to this parting that was showing something blue behind it. Miles parted the small branches and vines to reveal a large expanse of water. We were at a beach. How on earth did he have time to find time to find this place?

"I needed sometime to think some things over so I went for a walk yesterday evening and I stumbled upon this place." He said as if reading my thoughts. I walked closer and left behind any view I had of the hotel to go nearer to the sand that covered the beach.

The beach was completely empty . I guess this wasn't one of Jamaica's most popular beaches. The beach didn't have any labellings or signs so it was nameless too I guess. The fact that it was empty didn't bother me because I wouldn't have liked it as much if it was full of people.

Miles went closer to the water and I followed behind him in excitement. He pulled up his jeans and folded them up to his knees. At this moment I was thankful I went with a dress for this outing. I removed the sandals I had on and placed them in my hand before joining Miles.
