As we walked and neared near to the bigger  part of town I could feel the so called awkward silence that embarked around us start to crumble and the air becoming less tense. Jonah walked alongside me humming to himself and Miles walked ahead of us.

But not so much a head of us that you'd think he was walking by himself and not with us. He halted to a stop turning around to meet both of our gazes. His eyes flickered over to Jo. Then back to me again before he spoke.

"I honestly don't know where to go today but I'm open to suggestions" he added and I immediately knew what he was doing. He was leaving the option wide open so if Jonah had an idea he could speak up. Well done Miles I thought to myself in my mind.

You know how sometimes meeting friends of friends can be weird especially if they're nothing like your friend and you secretly question how the hell are my friends friends with them? This wasn't a situation like that and for that I was grateful plus that mainly occurs with Civilization's most questionable species known to man;girls.

Miles seemed chill about Jonah being here and Jonah was the same. There was no glaring or muttering or silently cursing under the breath. No there wasn't. The atmosphere was at ease and so was my soul.

" I got a few places in mind" Jonah smirked before continuing "but that depends are you up for it?, Miles." All Miles did was smile back at him as if he'd just been asked something that he was hoping he'd be asked at some point in time.

"Is that a challenge I hear there Jonah?"
"A challenge it is" Jonah answered back with humor in his eyes and his small dimple on the right side of his cheek popped out. It was so adorable and deep and just sooo Cute! I didn't even know he had dimples till a few seconds ago.

Get yourself together Shay I mentally told myself before looking to the boys again. "Then lets go " Miles boomed at Jonah. He halted to a stop after trying to walk off in a dramatic fashion after he realized that actually Jonah would have to direct us to where we were going.

When Miles turned around to face us both Jonah and I broke out into laughter because of the look on his face. Not even a second later he joined in on the laughter laughing at his own self. I'm glad he found it humorous.

When Jonah and I were directly standing beside him I heard Jo clear his throat before telling us the direction we'll be walking in. "Okay guys follow me" he spoke. "And the adventure begins" Miles and I said simultaneously.

Jonah just shook his head at us before leading the way. "Even though you guys have been in Chicago way longer than me I can definitely say that you guys have never been to where I'm taking you today." Jonah piped up in a matter of fact tone.

Miles and I snorted at that but it still lingered in my mind that Chicago is a big city and he was probably right. We were walking for a good ten minutes and I became more aware of my surroundings taking in everything.

We were on a board walk and when I say everything around was just beautiful I mean beautiful. There were these little ferns growing on the banks of either side of the board walk, the place was just a little bit windy but just the right amount, the air was extremely fresh for a city actually.

Cities are mostly polluted and smelt like car exhaust, burning plastics, old garbage, smelly water, and the one combination of all of the people in the city's Hairspray, perfumes, colognes, body splash you name it.

But here I was breathing in fresh crisp nice air. It was refreshing and I could see that the boys were thinking the same thing. Then I noticed something else they were talking to each other and I dared not to interrupt. I mean how could I? This is exactly the direction I want us steered in. The all on one boat kind of friendship thing. Not the all in three different boats friendship. This was perfect and I didn't dare to destroy it.
