I sighed reluctantly looking at my phone again currently I was on the chair beside the window in my room looking down below. Since I've been in Chicago this is probably the most boring Saturday I've ever had.

Every Saturday Miles and I would go out together. It was either going for lunch at a restaurant, taking me to movie, or casually going anywhere our feet carried us to. Realizing that Miles wasn't going to call anytime soon I swallowed my pride and dignity and picked up the phone to call him.

The phone started ringing and after about 30 seconds of waiting on him to pick up the phone it went straight to voicemail. Great,Just,Great. I couldn't waste anymore time trying to call Miles today so I just went downstairs to watch TV.

No one else was around except for that extremely short girl with waist length red hair. She was sprawled out on one side of the couch flicking through the channels. I really wished she wasn't here right now and that we didn't have one TV in this whole house.

I grabbed a bag of skittles from inside the fridge(yes the fridge) before walking over to the couch sitting opposite of the girl. Things just felt awkward and tense but I tried to brush it off.

My eyes flickered over to the TV which she was still flicking trying to find something to watch. She turned facing me with a smile on her lips. "What's wrong with her is that smile painted on" I scoffed in my mind. But , I really didn't - I said it out loud.

"Unfortunately no it's not painted on but I try to smile when I can" she replied. "Umm sorry I didn't realize I said that out loudly I uttered." "Clearly" she said back.

"What's your name?"she inquired.
"Shay. " "Why do you ask?"
"Nothing" she replied "just curious."
"Oh" I muttered back. "Don't you want to know my name" she asked. "No not really" I replied. "Oh" she said. I can tell she was definitely not expecting that.

Well what do you want to watch to pass some time? She asked again. "Anything at this point" I said. Okay she smiled deviously after what felt like an eternity she finally landed on a channel. Dora was on.

"Real mature girl" I rolled my eyes. "You did say anything so I found something." "Your lucky I didn't find the porn channel." I glared at her disgusted. I turned to face her again "first of all how do you know there's a porn channel on this TV, why would you even know exactly where to find it and lastly you disgust me."

"Well I know there's a porn channel on this TV because my roommate told me, again my roommate told me exactly where to find it and lastly it's okay if I disgust you" she said. This girl was really something else .

My phone rang snapping me out of my thoughts within a flash I jumped off to couch running directly to the counter where my phone was sitting. I looked down at the phone as soon as I grabbed it however I was quite disappointed when I answered and I didn't hear Miles' voice.

The caller ID was unknown but I answered anyway. "Hello who's this" I asked disguising my voice. "Hey Liah the person on the other end said happily." "Sorry dude I think you dialed the wrong number." I answered.  "This is the number you gave me Liah so stop playing." He spoke into the phone.

"I don't know who is Liah and neither do I know who you are but dude you have the fucking wrong number" I barked into the phone. The line went dead. "He deserved that" I muttered and whoever that Liah person is really needs to sort out her issues with Mr. Persistent.

I returned back to the couch to finish watching Dora hissing my teeth in the process. "Quite a mouth you got there" the short girl said to me. I still didn't know her name not that I wanted to know either. I didn't even utter a word to her I just grabbed the remote from the coffee table switching the channel to something more sensible.

I landed on The CW. I was so lost in the show because I hadn't watch it on a regular basis but continued to watch it anyways.

The show went to commercial and I decided to go to my room to take a nap. When I woke up it was 10:30pm. Wow I wonder how long I was out for but it didn't matter because right now I felt like I didn't need to sleep for at least a day.

I got up,changed my clothes and went down the stairs then to through the front door. i was sick of being home all day I need some fresh air. I didn't even know where I was going but I just needed to be anywhere apart from home right now.

After a long fifteen minutes of walking I decided to go to the mall and stop by the food court. I ended up eating a fruit bowl and over salted popcorn. By now it was 11:17 so I walked back home again enjoying the stillness of the night.

My Sunday was spent doing homework, cleaning the room and watching the rain beat against my window. Not once did I leave my room or speak to anybody. I went to bed early because I had school the following morning.
