Today was the last day of exams and may I just say it's been a pretty frustrating and very tiresome week . I missed out on sleep, eating and socializing - not that I did that often but you do get the point. Currently I just arrived at school.
As I walked the halls I was fighting with my self to keep my eyes open because I only managed to get four hours of sleep. Not very convenient is it? I only have two tests today in the morning and then later on we do whatever we want.
It's also the last day of school. As I walked, out of nowhere a hand tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to be greeted by a smiling Mr.Fagan. Seriously don't I have enough stress already? It was rude to stand there and stare at him but I definitely wasn't going to open my mouth anytime soon.
He must have figured out I wasn't going to speak because he started talking. "Good morning Ms. Matthews" oh so he does know my name I thought. I still remained silent. He looked really uncomfortable with me just standing there looking at him and it was clear he wished he hadn't stopped me seeing as any attempt of conversation with me was proven futile.
He stood there scratching his head before he continued " I just stopped you to inform you that I marked your essay first and thought you'd be happy to know your grade" I nodded. "I gave you a 75%, good try and your overall grade is 86%" he said then turned around and walked away.
Well shit I thought. The overall grade wasn't bad it's just pissing me off because I worked really hard on my essay. I shrugged it off maybe next time I murmured. Upon arriving at my locker I was kind of hoping to see Miles waiting on me but he wasn't. Quickly I put away my study notes and grabbed the things I needed for my test before it started.
An ear piercing chime erupted from the intercom speakers signalling that all students should be on their way to class and that exams would begin soon. Even after it ended my ears were ringing and I was more annoyed that tired at this point.
My first test for today was French and I made my way to the modern languages department where I'd take my test. It was just more to the side of our school that I didn't frequently visit. Heck, I tried to avoid it whenever I get the chance.
You are probably wondering why I avoided there well it's simple you see there are popular people at my school and then there are normal people at my school. The normal people fall into two categories the normal people who mind their own business who couldn't care less about the popular kids and then there's another set who oh so desperately want to be them.
Of course I could never be the latter. I mean have you met me? I'm not afraid or terrified of them as in the cliche books where the populars rule school and the poor little simpletons around are their Obeyers. No, my situation was different. I can't stand them. And I honesty mean CAN'T. Their presence disgust me well some of them only.
Not like I had a choice I made my way to the west wing of the school. Just as I was almost there I felt another tap on my shoulder. Seriously I groaned inwardly. I turned and you'd be surprised at who stopped me for the second time today.
It was Carson. "Hey Shay, going up to MLD?" He asked. "Well, I was" I answered back trying to let it slip that he stopped me. He just gave me a smile and one of the most seductive winks ( for a dude) I've ever seen. I tried to shrug off trying to not let it be evident that I found what he did attractive. Key word tried.
He noticed the effect he had on me and did something only Carson would do while we were about to have an exam. The fucker started walking closer to me. Here's how it goes I take a step back and he takes one forward. All hope of me getting out of this without my cheeks looking like overripe tomatoes was gone when I took a step back and was greeted with the concrete wall.
