* Calum's POV *
The days after that passed by quickly. My spare time was spent cuddling next to him and stolen kisses. It was already the day before Halloween. Theo says he doesn't want to dress up so I won't either. He says 'don't let my decision bring you down! You can dress up, I'll just make fun of you the whole time!'
I wanted to be Mario and Luigi.
He crushed my dreams. And I don't doubt for a second that he'd make fun of me if I did dress up. But we're invited to a Halloween party. Well, technically I was but I told him we both were. He didn't believe me. But I'm still bringing him with me.
I was stuck at work for today, working a double to make a little more money. He's only working the night shift and closing but he still may get off earlier than me because they close earlier.
I was scanning the items of an old couple. They had tons of bags of candies. I actually thought about just staying home and getting tons of candy and me and Theo could just watch a movie. He said he didn't care what we did, at least if he can stay by me. Sometimes, he reminds me of a little puppy. Always by my side, giving me puppy eyes when he wants something, tail wagging when he gets happy.
I finished scanning the items and gave them their receipt and they left. I turned around to see if Nick was busy and he was. Nick said that he's also going to the party. I think maybe Genevieve is also because the popular girls were sucking up to her. I don't know when it happened or why but they were now all best friends. She's a nice person so she didn't reject them.
Genevieve and Theo also got a lot closer. She comes over and they just hang out and talk and they're always together. But I don't mind. When Samantha comes over, she sits by me now. I think she's my best girl friend.
"Hello?!" A voice shouted from in front of me. I got so caught up daydreaming that I didn't notice the person in front of me.
I snapped back to attention and looked. It was Gina. She pursed her lips.
"Oh, it's you." She hissed. Her eyes narrowed and she looked around, seeing if another checkout spot was open. There wasn't.
"Well, are you going to put your things up here or stand there like a dumbass?" I said, urging her. She looked back at me and rolled her eyes.
"Ya know, you could be a little more sincere even if you haven't spoke to me in like two months." She said, getting her things from the buggy and putting them up.
"Okay." I said, not really caring. She was right though. I haven't spoke to her in months. Why would I? I don't really need her since I'm satisfied with Theo.
"Are you going to the party?" She asked, trying to make conversation. I wish she'd just stop.
"Yeah."
"Me too. How about you pick me up and we can go together?" She said, slight smirk on her face.
"Sorry. My plus one spot is filled." I gave her an innocent smile.
"Really? Who?" She asked, looking up at me.
"You don't need to know. It's not important." I smirked. She finished putting her things up and she put her hands on her hips.
"How come? If it's not that important then it shouldn't matter if you tell me or not."
"It does matter because it's still my business and I don't like you." I finished scanning her things and smiled own at her. She looked up at me with a dead eyed stare.
"You say that now but wait till we get to the party and you start drinking and leave your plus one and come asking for my body like always." She smirked, shifting her body so she can push her boobs up, angling it to where I'm looking right down her shirt. Funny thing is, it doesn't turn me on. Not like how Theo does.
