I went into her bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror as I took off my ruined gunk filled clothes why me I thought to myself as I tried to pull some of the dry flour from my hair. I gave up and just hoped I could wash it all away with having to cut my hair.

After my long shower I felt a little better, and I'm glad I didn't have to cut any of my hair; a couple of strands came out but nothing critical Thank God.

"hey stranger I thought you fell down the drain or something" Roxy said placing bags of chips, cookies and candy on the floor with two sodas "take a seat hun and tell me all your problems"

I laughed as I took a seat "by the time I finish telling you all my problems we'll be thirty"

"well just tell me about yourself then ill tell you about me, we don't even have to talk about what happened today" Roxy said while passing me Mountain Dew

"okay but I will tell you my life isn't really all that exciting" I said then took a sip of Mountain Dew

"good the boring and dead the better" she said smiling

"my name is Alaina Ginger Rose Jones, I'm an only child my best friend is Cameron Davis we've been friends since the sixth grade"

"and you have a big crush on him" Roxy added

"what.. No he's my friend" I stammered

"girl if we gon be besties we cant lie to each other"

"okay I might have a crush on him" Roxy gave me a girl don't lie face "okay I do have a crush on him, but he doesn't know and I would like to keep it that way"

I sighed "no I plan on telling him its just a lot of things have been going on and its hard"

"okay Ill take your word on that, but I think you should tell him what if he likes you back"

"and what if he doesn't then I will look like a complete fool and lose a friendship in the process, no thanks"

"okay agree to disagree" Roxy said holding up her bottle for me to clink mine with

"I'm fine with that" I said while tapping my bottle against hers

"right so, I'm 17 my birthday is July 3"

"pause Geminis winning tho June 12" Roxy said while sticking her tongue out and dancing "okay I'm done please go on"

I shook my head this girl is extra but in a good way. "well I just recently met my dad because my mom tried to keep him away from me, but I guess I'm over it just happy to have in my life and that's pretty much all to my story"

"wow I feel like I've known you for years" Roxy said "okay my turn my name is Roxanne Marie Quinn, I'm not an only child sadly, I have a little sister she's six her name is Rosie aka my headache. Um my mom is in the marines, but she wants to become a reserve she can be here for me and Rosie; my dad passed away when I was four"

"oh I'm sorry to hear that"

"its fine, I know he's in a better place" she said smiling small "but my step dad Austin has been there since I was ten, he's Rosie's dad. He's a cool guy but a couple years back he got into some trouble got sent to jail, but now he's good learned his lesson, he would usually be here around this time but he went to see a friend"
