I started walking the trail looking around, but I didn't see anyone

I jumped a bit the vibrate from my phone scaring me

Roxy🦋: are you okay??

Me: yeah I don't see anyone though

My phone vibrated again I looked at it thinking it was Roxy but instead it was the unknown number

Unknown: come by the big oak tree

I started smiling "big oak tree" it's Cam the big oak tree is where we used to come when we were younger; he probably wanted to apologize for being such a dickhead earlier. I started walking with a little more pep in my step now that I knew who it was. The big oak tree was a little further away from where people went because it wasn't on the trail.

I quickly texted Roxy to let her know it was just Cam fooling around

"Caaamm" I said as I got closer to the tree "I know it's you why did you use a random number you could've just texted m--" I stopped walking and looked around no one was behind the tree

"Hey" I heard someone mumble, I turned around quickly and shook my head

"What do you want" I said crossing my arms

"To talk, Alaina you ruined my life"

I scrunched my face up "I ruined your life what I never did anything to you"

"You moved here everything was fine before you came, I was going to be Cams girlfriend"

I looked at her confused "what are you talking about Chynna"

"The day Cam came and rescued you is the same day I asked him to be my boyfriend and he told me no because of you"

"He told you no because you're a bully"

"I'm not a bully you deserved everything you got, you hurt me so I returned the favor. Before you came me and him were really close"

"Okay I understand you think I stole your friend but I didn't, I was new I didn't know anyone and you bullied me for no reason; Cam was the only one who came and talked to me"

"Oh suck it up the world is tough get over it my life isn't great either you don't see me trying to kill myself; you're just an attention whore"

"You made my life a living hell you called me names you got your friends to hate me for what because of Cam, that was years ago get over it"

"I see you grew some balls where was this Alaina when we were twelve" she said taking a step closer to me

"It doesn't matter where she was she's here now" I said standing my ground

She didn't respond she just pulled out her phone and started texting

"Well whatever I'm leaving" I said turning to go

"Wait Alaina"

I turned back around "what do you want"

"Did you really think I would let you get away with that shit you pulled in the bathroom" she took a big step getting in my face

"Leave me alone chynna" as I turned to go I ran into Tanaji "move out my way"

She pushed me backwards and before I could push her back someone from the side pushed me, I turned and saw Tamara smiling at me

"Hey Alaina" I turned around and saw Sam

"Miss me"

They surrounded me "move out my way" I said sternly

"Oh shut the fuck up" chynna said

"Why are you doing this" I said looking at Sam "you was just apologizing to me"

"It was all apart of the plan"

"What plan" I said looking at them

"Ugh she's soo clueless"

"Here I'll explain Sam is my cousin"

Realization hit me "you was playing me all along" I said glaring at Sam

"Well not all along we found out we were cousins about five or four months ago, but that's not when the plan started; it started after that little altercation between me and Te" Sam said

"Yeah you took Tes side and left my cousin all alone that's so mean Alaina" Chynna said shaking her head at me

"So you decided to play as my friend just to stab me and the back"

"Ding ding ding we have a winner" Tamara said laughing

"It was supposed to go way differently but your little friend Roxanne decided to fuck it up" Tanaji said rolling her eyes

"The little fight with me helping you was supposed to make us be besties again but with Roxy by your side you didn't need me" Sam said

"Okay well thanks for filling me in now move"

"Or what" Chynna said taking a step closer to me

"Yeah what are you going to do Alaina" Sam said pushing me

I pulled my phone out about to call Roxy but Chynna grabbed it from my hands throwing it in the grass "who were you going to call huh cam"

"Please just let me leave"

"Aww she said please I see you humbled yourself but that's not going to help you now is it" Sam said smiling and pushing me to the ground
