Chapter 47: Last Fight

Logan

"Logan!" Sam yelled at the top of his lungs, however, it wasn't a yell that he was in danger, it was a yell that would lead to him asking me to get him the remote or something like that. I was working on some school work and so I placed my pen down and walked downstairs while rolling my eyes. As I neared the bottom, I got a good view of the front door where Johnny was standing, holding a bouquet of pretty and very colourful flowers. I couldn't stop the smile on my face as I neared him and held my hands out for them.

"What if those were for me?" Sam asked in passing and as he walked by, I stuck my leg out, successfully tripping him and making him stumble down the hallway and Johnny laughed at the both of us.

"What are you doing?" I whispered as he fully placed them into my hands and he glanced back to where Sam disappeared.

"Despite what he thinks, they are for you and I know you'd get mad at me if I asked you at school. But, Logan, I would really like it if you went to prom with me." He said and I smiled up at him feeling that warm sensation inside my chest and I nodded.

"I wasn't sure if that was your thing." I admitted as he stepped closer and pulled me close to him.

"Normally, I'd agree with you but I know how much you want the 2000's romance movie and I will do my best to give that to you." He promised and a breathless laugh left me at the sheer disbelief. This was "Build a Boyfriend" and I created Johnny perfectly for me. He leaned down pressing his lips to mine in a gentle kiss and I wrapped my arm around his upper back and smiled against his lips, it felt like it has been ages since I have been alone with Johnny. Life has been so busy and all I wanted to do was lay down with him and kiss him. He looked so cute when his lips were all puffy and swollen.

"I love you." He said against my lips and I smiled. I actually loved hearing those words fall from his lips. I thought I would never experience this feeling with anyone, but I loved Johnny. He had my whole heart and it was still in the back of my mind that I was changing. It was scary but I was changing.

"I love you too." I said back to him and he held something up and I eyed the black velvet box.

"Okay, I love you, but getting married ain't for us right now. I don't care if we're werewolves or not." I said and he rolled his eyes at me and shook his head.

"Don't be an idiot and of course you want to marry me and if you don't, Sam probably will." He shrugged and we both shared a laugh before he opened it and I looked in at the small diamond necklace of a sun. It was gold and inside the sun was small diamonds.

"That's so pretty, why did you buy me this? It's not my birthday." I said while reaching out to touch it and I looked up at him as he looked away and rubbed the back of his neck and I watched slowly as his neck, cheeks and ears flushed.

"Johnny? Are you nervous or do you have a sudden case of high blood pressure?" I asked and he sighed while not meeting my gaze.

"Okay, at the time I liked it and the store saleswoman liked it but now that I'm thinking about it, I think it's lame." He said and I looked at him utterly confused. Why would he think that a necklace with a sun on it would be lame? I thought it was cute.

"Johnny, it's beautiful...I don't understand why you would..." I trailed off as he reached under his shirt and pulled out the chain that he always wears, on the end had a ring that he explained to me months ago, his dad had the same one and it's passed down through grandfathers in their pack, his dad would give one to his eldest son one day. However, that wasn't the point. The point was that there was a new item hanging from the end of his chain. It was a small moon that was silver with diamonds in the middle (AN: totally didn't rip off Pandora on this one).
