"She looks like a piece of cotton candy on a stick." I said to Lilith. I was staring at Taylor, Melody, and Jamie. Taylor was wearing this bright blue dress that fluffed out, Melody was wearing a similar style but in pink. Jamie wore this off-white dress, trying to show how "innocent" she was.

"Believe it or not that was you at one point." I said and Lilith's eyes widened her eyes in realization and she looked back at her.

"Well, I think you beat that out of me. Maybe the concussion I suffered put my head on straight." She said while shivering slightly and I chuckled as I shook my head.

"I like Stacey-Lee's dress." Lilith commented while pointing to a girl with dark curled hair. We were going through other dresses and Sam came over with us.

"Yeah, but those heels don't work." Sam noted. I looked at her black Louis Vuitton's and cocked my head to the side.

"True, like I like the shoes but I wouldn't have chosen pumps with that. I would have went with like a cute little strappy heel." Lilith added while holding up her hand and nodding.

"True." Sam and I both agreed.

"Well, well...what do we have here?" Someone asked. I looked at Taylor across the table. Melody sat down and Jamie leaned against a chair. They must have moved around the room, getting out of our line of sight as they got to us and now they were occupying our seats and Sam was the first one to say something.

"Okay, bye! Did I say you could sit?" He said while immediately moving his things from Melody's vicinity and he shot her an angered look.

"I hope you don't think you're actually going to win tonight, Logan." Taylor chuckled.

"Why do you do this? You come over here trying to start shit. I was just chilling talking about heels and you come out of nowhere. I'm trying to enjoy myself." I told her and both Sam and Lilith back me up.

"We didn't seek you out, you came to us." She had pointed out and Taylor immediately narrowed her eyes, I know there was bad blood between the two and I actually haven't seen them interact since I knew they were not together anymore.

"Shut your mouth you filthy, omega." Taylor said and Lilith shrunk back slightly. In our family, mom and dad had two alphas a beta and Lilith presented as an omega later. In some packs, omegas were frowned upon - it was funny because as far as I knew, Jamie presented as an omega. It was part of the reason why Maverick - Johnny's father - never approved.

"Is she not an omega too?" I asked while pointing to Jamie and her eyes went wide.

"Or is it because she looks so goddamn pitiful that she has you all wrapped around her finger. News flash, it's not the nineteen-hundreds, we don't have to look down on each other." I said in a duh-tone. 

"You pick on me and I haven't even done anything to you. I came to this school as a new student." Jamie said, her eyes going red and welling with crocodile tears. I looked at her and began laughing dryly.

"You haven't done anything? That's a fucking riot." I laughed out loud.

"Then what is it? You hate me because of my relationship with John? It's not my fault we grew up together and went to school together. We're just friends, Logan." She said, wiping her eyes but there were no tears there to wipe. 

"Is she for real right now? Are we dead serious?" Sam asked while pointing to her as Melody and Taylor came to her aid.

"How can you be prom queen when you treat people like this?" Taylor snapped and I just gaped at her, I heard Lilith giggle slightly beside me.
