Chapter 48: Day One

Logan

Day one of being a good girl. I only have to do this for two weeks and then I can do whatever I want after. I can do this, all I have to do is ensure everyone knows I have changed and then I will be good to go once it is all over.

"Do I look like a good girl?" I asked Sam while walking into his room. He was putting on a shirt and then he stared at me oddly. I smoothed down the sweater vest I had on and the pair of more fitted jeans with no holes in them. Sam's eyes and eyebrows moved higher in surprise as he looked me up and down and finally landing on the brand new white converse. Gone were the ratted ones I loved because I didn't have to tie them up - they got to that point where they formed to my foot and I didn't have to take ages untying them.

"You look like a fucking weirdo." Sam said scrunching up his nose. I looked into the mirror and smiled triumphantly. My hair was even slicked back into a high ponytail, not a single teal piece was out of place.

"Perfect." I said turning back to him and he stared at me in shock as I strode away and went down the stairs. Jake was walking through the hallway looking at his song book and humming. He saw me and stopped dead in his tracks and cocked his head to the side.

"You're actually serious? Wearing a sweater vest doesn't make you a good kid, Logan. You can wear anything and still be a good kid." He pointed out.

"Yes, but I am making it look believable father dear." I said gesturing to my whole outfit and he gave me another once over before giving up and heading into his "office" - which was a fancy sound proofed room where he could play and write his music.

I was eager to get to school, I wanted people to see I had changed, I could do it and make it believable. Sam stared at me the whole way and only stopped when we actually got to school and I made my way over to Johnny and the others. He was moving some things in his trunk and he glanced at me once and then paused and turned his head to me, slowly rising from being hunched over.

"What are you doing?" He asked as I stopped in front of him and leaned against his car. I placed a hand on my hip and he raised his pierced brow in confusion.

"That sweater vest is not really you, Logan." Finn whispered as he passed by me, he bent down and whispered it in my ear as he did and I shoved his chest.

"Everything is my thing, Finny boy." I pointed out.

"From this day on, Logan Everton doesn't swear, fight, or talk back. She is a good girl." I declared while standing up straight and tossing the end of my ponytail over my shoulder. As I did, Sam pinched the back of my arm, right above my elbow and it made me jump and rub my arm.

"Ow! Why the hell would you do that, asshole?" I snapped and they all laughed.

"You're still Satan." Sam chuckled, holding up his arms in defence.

"I am not. Watch." I assured while turning and straightening my sweater vest. I put on my best smile and my eyes landed on the group of three girls that were walking from their expensive cars. Here is my time to shine.

"Hi Taylor!" I waved. Taylor, Melody, and Jamie looked up and looked to each other before staring at me disgustingly and shaking their heads.

"Bite me, you bitch." Taylor snapped and I faked a gasp, placing a hand to my chest - faking utter shock at how she spoke to me. I really had to sell my position here.

"Why I would never do that. That could hurt you." I noted and all three of them stopped dead in their tracks.

"Is she serious?" Melody whispered confused.
