Chapter Sixty- Bored
Logan
"I'm so bored!" I groaned whipping my journals across the room. I had filled up two journals in two months due to being stuck inside all the time. I barely saw Johnny and my friends and with the werewolf pregnancy I looked about six or seven months pregnant.
I got up and walked down the hall and opened Sam's door. He was on his bed on top of Finn in a very heated make-out session. I paid no mind and walked in and sat on his bed. His shirt was on the floor while Finn was fully clothed.
I sat down at the foot of his bed and folded my hands under my bulging stomach. I waited patiently for them to stop shoving each other's tongues down their throats and finally Sam turned and looked at me. His lips were swollen and he raised his eyebrow at me.
"Kind of busy here, Lo." He said and I shrugged.
"Sammy, I'm bored. I'm going crazy." I sighed and Finn chuckled.
"Bring her over tonight." Finn said putting an arm behind his head while Sam laid on him.
"What's tonight?" I asked.
"We were all having drinks tonight-" Sam slapped his chest as I frowned.
"You guys are hanging out without me? Why? I'm suddenly boring because I'm pregnant? Or is it because I'm too fat? I know I have to push back my seat in my car but I'm not fat!" I said. All these emotions swarmed my head from this stupid pregnancy. I felt so many emotions I didn't know what to do with myself.
"Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm not fun!" I cried. Why the fuck am I crying?
"Why are you crying? Logan, you can come, we are having drinks but we can get you a soda." Sam assured and I wiped the tears from my eyes.
"Johnny probably doesn't even like me anymore because I'm fat." I pouted.
"Now what the fuck are you talking about?" Finn laughed along with Sam.
"Stop laughing at me! I'm very emotional and I don't know what to do!" I cried standing up.
"Logan, Johnny was away for alpha training at the elders council. He's upset because he can't be with you." Finn explained and I shook my head.
"No, I'm ugly and I'm a beach ball. I need to go eat." I muttered while leaving his room.
Johnny
"Man I'm exhausted." I whispered while falling back onto my bed. All this training was annoying, not only did you train physically and mentally but you had to train for how much pain you can take and it eventually takes a toll on your body. I haven't been able to speak to Logan for almost two months, one because I was stressing her out if she saw me tired or hurt and two, I was away and barely had time to contact my family.
I wish I could go back to the sandy beaches on our vacation.
"Let's go, the girls are here." Blondie said coming into the room. I groaned and put a hand over my eyes.
"Blake, I'm exhausted." I said.
"Come downstairs and have one beer and then you can come up and sleep." He pleaded and I sighed sitting up and wincing at the pain in my ribs. I lifted my shirt noticing the bruises on them and I sighed. I guess I could use some food to get my strength up.
I went downstairs and heard laughing from our den. I glanced in and saw Lilith, Hannah, Ryan, Blondie, Finn, and Sam. I sighed and continued on to the kitchen and grabbed a beer and whatever food I could find in the fridge. I leaned against the counter and ate quietly.
"You ate before we came!" Sam exclaimed.
"I am feeding for another person! I'm sorry I can't control my appetite." Logan's voice was filled with sadness and I raised my eyebrows as she walked in. Her coloured hair was tied up into a neat bun, she had on a pair of leggings and a long sleeve shirt with a light coloured cardigan.
"Why are you crying?" I asked as a tear escaped her eye.
"I have cried twelve times in the past week and I can't even feel my brain." She said sadly. I then looked down at her stomach and smiled. I had missed so much. She broke me out of my trance by walking towards me and wrapping her arms around my torso. Her head rested on my chest and her heart beat instantly slowed down.
This was not Logan Everton.
She doesn't outright hug people. This was pregnant Logan Everton. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and kissed her head.
"I missed you." I heard her whisper.
"I missed you too, pretty girl. Come let's go sit down." I said grabbing my beer. We walked to the family room and I sat down on the sofa and she did the same.
"How are you feeling?" I asked her.
"Like shit." She answered.
"You don't look like shit." I chuckled making her smile.
"I feel like it. My back hurts, my ankles swell, I'm bored being locked in my room and the pizza place knows me by name and by my voice when I call."
"That's always helpful." I laughed.
"Do you want to feel? Can't you feel for heartbeats? The doctor says females can't for some reason. Which makes no sense." She said shaking her head. I set down my beer and leaned forward pressing my hands to her stomach. I couldn't stop the smile on my face as she watched me.
"Twins?" I asked feeling and hearing the two extra heartbeats more closely. She had a large smile on her face and nodded.
"The doctor says that they should be here next month. A boy and a girl." She grinned.
"Really?" I whispered still not believing this.
"W-what are we going to name them?" I asked.
"We will figure it out." She assured while I felt a large thump.
"She said the girl is really active. Even when she was doing the ultrasound, she kept kicking."
"Takes after her mom." I laughed.
