~*All About Mermaids~*
•Heather POV•
I look at my scaly tail.
Total shock.
But then I think about it...and a huge smirk forms.
"Now I have something Lyla doesn't!" I laughed and flipped my tail as I started swimming.
I saw a dolphin.
'River dolphins?! this couldn't get better!' I thought as I smiled at one of the dolphins.
It swam towards me, so I started petting its nose, and running my hands down its leathery skin.
'Race you!' I mouthed to the dolphin as if he could speak English.
I took off as fast as I could go.
'Woah. I'm fast!' I shot off like a torpedo, getting home in no time.
"Ah. nothing like a good swim.'' I said and pulled my heavy tail out of the water.
I sat there for a few minutes, pondering how the heck I was gonna get my legs back.
Just as I was about to go back to the full moon pool, my legs magically came back, right before my eyes.
"Awesome." I said and walked back inside to see Lyla writing in her 'Lyla' journal.
•Lyla POV•
"Hey. You're finally home. what took you all night? it's 5:09am now." I asked my sister who was wearing a bra and underwear.
"And what's with the getup?" I asked again, looking at her attire.
"Ooo! I forgot I was wearing these! Lemme go upstairs!"
• few minutes later•
My sister walked down the stairs in a tank top, and MissMe jean shorts.
"Hey, aren't those my jean shorts?" I asked looking at how tight they fit her.
"Yeah. Get over it." She said very snotty.
She walked into the kitchen, and grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge.
'Heather never drinks plain water.' I thought to myself.
She unscrewed the lid, and sat the open bottle on the counter, as she got a cup.
She grabbed a cup but hit the bottle with her elbow as she turned back around.
Water spilled on her hand.
She had a face of terror, and stood there for a minute, then fainted.
Or at least I think she fainted.
I walked into the kitchen and caught a glimpse of a fin as it scooted around to the other side of the wall.
I ran around into the living room, because the living room is connected to the kitchen, and that's where the fin disappeared to.
When I got there, Heather was lying on the floor.
With....legs.
'At first I thought she was a ....I'm really going crazy.' I thought inside my head.
"Is everything alright?" she looked up at me as if nothing happened.
"Yeah....... everything's perfectly clear." I said and walked away.
